Try Cinderella's carriage. I used silver glitter all over the pumpkin, cut out a few "windows" and a "door" then used an old baby carriage from my daughter's barbie stuff, tore off the seat and stuck it into the bottom of the pumpkin to make the wheels. The finishing touch was her polly pocket Cinderella and a couple of small horses. I put it all inside a silver shoe box and layered the bottom with white tissue paper.. It won 1st place in our company contest!

We've been doing lots of pumpkin decorating this season, and some of the materials we like have been pipe-cleaners (good hair), gemstone-stickers (good teeth), markers, and best of all, glitter and glue.

I think Martha Stewart's October 2007 issue has some more good ideas including ways to complete glitterify your pumpkin.

I've included some links in the source that I hope will be inspirational for you! Good luck.

We buy a template booklet every year. They come with the proper tools and have templates that are easy, medium and hard. Our pumpkins are always the most creative in the neighborhood. We've done spiders, witches, black cats, ghosts, haunted houses...all sorts of fun things. Give it a try.

Draw the mathematical symbol for "Pi" on the side of the pumpkin and then carve it out.

Pumpkin "Pi"...nudge-nudge....eh?....get it???

Oh, well...never mind. LOL!
