I'm curious about this therapy. I hope to get some answers from people who have tried it. I've done a little bit of research but haven't come up with too much on it and find that the success rate varies from clinic to clinic. The one here claims a 95% success rate and another (I'm not sure of the location) boasts a mere 60%.

lol nobody points a laser in your eye. It's just acupuncture via low powered laser beams.

don't bother. It's not FDA approved, and the FDA has been trying to close down these clinics.

I truly believe that to quit smoking is only successful when you do it cold turkey.
No laser, patches gum or such are needed.
When you are ready ,you can quit.
When you say , "I'll try to quit" , you have already failed.
To use any gimmicks out there ,you will only make the developers of "lasers, acupuncture, gums and patches,etc.",richer.
If all that stuff worked, there would be no smokers, just like all the diet pills and wonder drugs out there. Why are there still fat people?
Because those pills and things don't work.If you take anything like that you will rely on those to do the work for you.You have to be ready and willing to quit.
Your mind works, that is the key.
I quit a 3 pack a day habit in 1990,cold turkey. Not saying it was easy , but I believe that is the only way.It may not work for everybody, but it did for me and numerous others I personally know. Most of them have tried various "helpful remedies" and have failed.
So,to answer your question , I don't think laser therapy works .
Good luck

I gather Thomas O is NOT a smoker. What a jackass!! Obviously you're trying if you're even asking this question so he can suck it LOL! I've never heard of Laser Therapy. Until something is invented that hits every news station across the Country, I won't believe it. There's definitely no magic cure yet & I'm pretty sure that everything out there involves a huge amount of willpower & constant follow ups which can get costly. If I were you I would stick to the patch or the gum & white knuckle it.

So what happens? Does somebody shoot a laser in your eye if they catch you smoking?
