I was parked in my apt complex's pakring area, where there is no sign regarding being towed at your own expense or who would tow you if it happened. I came home to find my vehicle gone. I called the apt and they said they didn't tow. I called the city and after they said they didn't, I reported my vehicle stolen. I called back my apt the next morning and they again declined towing me, but said they saw who did. When I picked up my car, they said the apt called. I called them again and they said one of their maintenance staff did call in the tow. I was parked ina no parking zone, but I think they should have had some sort of tow notice. This happened on my wedding anniversary and I was on the phone with insurance and at my house with the ploce for hours. Can I sue them for the tow at all?

I have to have this procedure done tomorrow. Earlier this week I got an email from my spouse of 20 years (we've had are problems in the last few years, but he's been very supportive while I have been sick the last 3 months). The email was a forward from one of his co-workers saying there was a practice session for a speech he has to give scheduled for Thursday (the day I am having the already scheduled cardiac cath). He wanted to know if I could get a ride there and he would try to get back to pick me up.

I am sooooo freaking mad. I made other arrangements for a ride. When I told him I had a ride both ways, he protested that he would be there. I said, "Why waste the day? I have it handled." He then let it go.

Am I nuts or does this stick??

I just had a bridal shower and I live in a small apartment, so I'm trying to make room for all my new things. I have a limited amount of space for sheets as well. Anyone know of any tricks for folding fitted sheets? I re-folded all the sheets and they are neater than before but still thick and bulky! HELP!!

Sometimes my daughter (she's 5 years and in Kindergarten) after coming back from school sits on the bed or in the living room and sets an imaginary classroom and assumes the role of her teacher and give insitructions to students like a teacher while sitting alone in the room. Off course no student at home infront of her. It's all like talking to herself and giving instructions with hands and moves like a teacher in the room.

A wedding occurred, just outside Cavan in Ireland. To keep tradition going,everyone got drunk and the bride's and groom's families have a storming row and begin wrecking the reception room and generally kicking the crap out of each other.

The Police get called in to break up the fight. The following week, all members of both families appear in court. The fight continues in the court room until the Judge finally brings calm with the use of his hammer, shouting "Silence in Court".

The court room goes silent and Paddy (the best man) stands up and says, "Judge.. I was the best man at the wedding and I think I should explain what happened". The Judge agrees and asks Paddy to take the stand. Paddy begins his explanation by telling the court that it is traditional in a Cavan wedding that the Best Man gets the first dance with the Bride. The judge says "OK".

I have a 7 year old Sears Gas Hot Water Heater. Several times when we have gone away for a day or more it seems as if the water heater went off and we only have luke warm water for a shower, etc. I go down to check the pilot lite and the burner is then working fine, and the hot water heater continues to work properly. Does anyone know what the problem might be?

My husband moved out of our apartment and wants a divorce. Here's the thing...he always paid the rent and I always paid everything else. But now I can't afford all the bills and the rent. Will the court hold him responsible for paying it since it is a debt we both have? Also, when he moved out, he took a trucking job and I just found out that he had planned this all year long...can I get him for Abandonment...this was just sprung on me after I found out he had been calling an old girlfriend. He refuses to answer my calls now too..so I see it as abandonment. You can read a prior question of mine for that info.
