My car is 20 yrs old, the paint is bad, only when it rains!

Yep..... embarrassingly my car recently had a 2 inch plant growing from the muck that has collected in the rubber at the base of the windscreen .
My husband now doesn't ask if I've washed the car, he asks if I've weeded it.

I have a dirt road that runs close to my house and dirt is always blowing dust from cars going by . It is pointless to spend much time washing it so I let the rain wash it. I take it to the wash every other month to get a new coat of wax to protect the paint..

Used to be that way with my two previous cars(both 10 or 15 years old at the time) but I just got a new one and I really want to keep it clean!

No, I wash my car more than that. I actually once washed my car when it was raining. Only because it got t.p. and my guy friends put canned carrots, sardines and other nasty stuff all over it.
Boys are just great aren't they?

My girlfriend has had her car 2 years and has only been properly washed three times, twice by me!

yep, I am worried the car wash will rub off the remaining paint!!!
I do wash it in winter for removing the salt.

I wash mine once every 1 to 2 months. I just forget and don't feel like it.
