I have a Chevy Prism (6 years) and a Chevy Lumina (12 years); my mother has a Honda (8 years). I never had any problems with them. However, I think a lot of that has to do with how well you drive (consistent speed, not heavy acceleration and braking, avoiding potholes, etc.) and maintenance. We also use those packets to clean out the engine and those fuel injectors. If I hear anything funny we take it to the shop. I'm very into pre-ventive car maintenance. We've also had good luck with Saturn. However, I would not buy a dodge.

I have a 1992 Honda Accord that has 410,000 miles and still runs very well, doesn't require a ton of maintenance.

93 Geo prism, same as a 93 Toyota corolla, 110000miles tires twice, kept up on oil changes, 1 battery, windshield wipers a few times, that's it.
