I'am now married and have 3 daughters.My parents Never call to see how i'am doing.I always have to call them.They never spend time with my children but they always take in my sisters children.I have always gave them money and such but not once got a thank you.They never talked to me as a child whenever i needed someone.They slept with other people (swingers)but felt it was none of my business and it did not have anything to do with me but it did it affected the way i love and trust someone.I was also made fun of because of their ways and was also judged over it.When i was about 9 yrs old a so called friend of the family's tried to molest me.He never got to because my sister woke up and protected me.My parents knew what had happened but did not try and protect me they continued allowing this person to come around.They still let him come to their house after all these years.Anyways i wrote all this in their letter and let them know how hurt i'am over all this.should i feel guilty??

I am a white American male that is marrying an Indian women. She is very much Americanized but her parents and family are not. So for our wedding we basically have to have two caterers..one for Indian food and one for some sort of Italian/American food. I have been running into a loot of obstacles with this. Most reception halls will only allow one caterer (don't ask me why...it makes no sense to me). Anyone had an experinece like this? Or have any suggestions on how to make both cultures happy on our wedding day?

I went to the hosptial on Sat night & was told I have a sever outer ear infection in the right side showing signs of starting in the left. They gave me 3 motrin and one morphine pill to remove the pain that night & prescriptions for apo-naproxen 2x a day & Cipro HC drops 3 drops 3x a day for 3 days then down to 3drops 2x a day. I've been taking the meds but I still hurt.

I was supposed to work Sun - Thurs, I've already taken Sun & Mon off, I feel obligated financially to go into work tonight BUT I'm still in so much pain, I can't even sleep, I can't chew food because my jaw on the right is swollen, I'm wearing a hat with lil ear flaps to keep out air. My job is working graveyard shift baking at a donut shop, I go in & out of a freezer all night. My husband said if I'm in pain I shouldn't go but I am torn between financial responsibly and my health. I really don't know what to do.

For the past few weeks iv been drinking about 3 bottles of Mineral aka soda aka carbonated water. Is this a healthy substitute for plain water? It contains chloride, sodium, magnesium, bicarbonate, calcium and potassium in fairly small amounts, so is this healthy or should i be looking for other alternatives to plain boring water?

Taking GW out of the issue completely and looking at sustainability the oil will run out at some time. What are we going to do?

Transport - Are we going to have nuclear power producing electricity for trucks?
Food production - A big tractor is 500 horse power approx. What would we run combine harvesters, tractors, balers ect on?
Defence - airplanes, tanks, moving troops around?
Rail/Canal etc.

I have a boyfriend that I love, and I have a family that I love. For some reason, my family just hates my boyfriend. I live in Georgia by the way. I told my family that I want to go back to New York City to settle down where my boyfriend lives. That doesn't mean that I want to go to ny because of my boyfriend. When I stay home, I feel like I'm getting lazy because I feel too comfortable. I told my family that I got a job in ny and I have to go back to ny on next tuesday. My family just tried to come up with any excuse to not letting me go to ny. I know they worry about me, but I'm already 22, and I'm an adult. I have a airplane ticket, and I'm planning to go to airport whether they will let me go or not. Am I doing the right thing?
