For the past few weeks iv been drinking about 3 bottles of Mineral aka soda aka carbonated water. Is this a healthy substitute for plain water? It contains chloride, sodium, magnesium, bicarbonate, calcium and potassium in fairly small amounts, so is this healthy or should i be looking for other alternatives to plain boring water?

Make weak tea and ice it. That's what I do. Jasmine green tea is great this way cause it has a sweet taste without sugar.

Its true. There isnt a substitute for plain water. Regular, plain water as no calories, no sugar, no carbs etc... and there isnt anything else that doesnt have all that stuff. Every other drink (even drinking water with Crystal Light) has some calories, some sugar, some carbs and other stuff

Club soda isnt all that bad for you. Its just that plain drinking water (with nothing in it...not even Crystal light) is more healthier for the body because its just water and its easier for the body to put it to good use (and it could be used right away or quicker than carbonated water)

I drink club soda a lot when I want a nice, fizzy drink without any sugar or calories. It tastes great, especially with a lemon or lime in it. According to that guy Dr. Oz on Oprah, people shouldn't stress about how much water they drink, since water is in virtually everything we eat, so I would say you're in good shape. As for the minerals in soda water, they are very small amounts...you'll be fine.

Yes, the Crystal Lights do count as "water" in your diet. There are so many different flavors to choose from too.

Walmart has one called Cherry Limeade that is my favorite.

Also the Crystal Light "Immunity on the Go" Cherry Pomegranate is really good. They have several green tea varieties as well.

Raspberry Ice is another favorite of mine.

I can hardly drink plain water anymore.

Fill up your tub tape the drain with duct tape. Buy about 1 or 2 gallons of bottle water for each adult to drink per day. Plus a few extra. Buy storage containers for cooking water if you don't have any from milk or O.J. containers. Keep extra water to flush the commode like about 12 to 14 gallons. Walmart .88cents a gallon.

If you drink plain water long enough, you'll get used to it and eventually crave it...just don't drink warm water or bad tap water cause that tastes like s**t. I used to hate it and now I want it all the time. There is no good substitute. Sorry.
CRYSTAL LIGHT IS NOT HEALTHY FOR YOU!!!!!!! Artificial sweetener is full of chemicals! Just because it has only a few calories, doesn't make it good for you.

I love Club Soda but you do have to be careful of the sodium. You should be drinking regular water also but certainly the old adage of 8 glasses a day has been disproven. Drink what your body needs.

Well as boring as water may seen, there are no COMPLETE substitutes for it.
It's best to drink just plain broing water. Flavored water isn't very healthy so I suggest plain water.

I like seltzer water. Just carbonated water. No additives. It's got to be better than all the others (crystal light, propel, etc). I don't understand how water with carbonation would not be as beneficial as regual water. Huh, weird.
