I am not a mathematician but have an interest in maths which doesn't actually go as far as actually doing calculations! I discovered this "fact" by playing with a calculator. I was unable to work out how to differentiate the function which is what you need to do no doubt to show what its maximum is.Can anyone give me some insight as to why this fact is a fact? The one who gets the 10 points will have to explain it in a very simple clear way suitable for someone whose knowledge of analysis is very elementary indeed.

I know your bible tells you to go forth and spread the word and all that, but guess what? EVERYBODY on planet Earth (save a few remote, isolated African or South American tribes) knows about Christianity!
So you did it, you spread the word. Mission accomplished. Hear ya loud and clear.
So what part of this sentence do you not understand? "I heard about Christianity. I learned about it. Then I made my own decision that does not favor Christianity. Go away please. I am not interested."
So that's not good enough for you? You feel the need to force your religion into public schools, government and my life? I don't believe the way you do, so you're going to FORCE me to?
Why can't Christians say: "I did my part, I spread the word. Some said yes, some said no, and now I'm just going to be happy with my beliefs and leave everyone else alone."

I simply do not recal the bible ever saying: "Go forth and spread the word of God. And if they don't listen to you, go to war and force them!"

On the Baby Einstein viedo - Baby's First Moves - they show a one or two year old jumping on a trampoline that was obviously designed for kids of that age. Does anyone know where I can buy one of those? I have 11 month old twins that would love to (highly supervised) play on something like that. :)

his behaviour when drunk is totally inappropriate, disrespectful and embarrasing. this has happened about 3 times in 4 months, the last occasion being particularly bad. i told him i have lost respect and it's over, but he is begging for another chance, saying that he will stop drinking and change. he can't bear to lose me and will do anything to keep the relationship going. i feel like giving him a chance. or do you think people never change and i should end it now while there's good opportunity?

In other words. I need to find the regualtion stating that a soldier can take a certain amount of time out of a day (or week) to perform PT. I don't need a statement stating "YOu are authorized an hur PT every other day'... I need the actual regualtion that states it....

My 7 week old daughter keeps throwing herself back and arching her back afte rthe first 2-3 oz, then I try to give her the bottle again and she keeps doing like she doesn't want it but she keeps sucking like she does. The left is literally doing logical loop-de-loops in order to meld together contradictory ideas. Liberals seem to care more about protecting the environment, then they do about the lives of unborn babies. Liberals make jokes about practicing Christians, & they make excuses for Muslim terrorists. Liberals say that they support free speech, but they are responsible for political correctness. Political correctness is censorship by any name. Liberals say that they're against discrimination, but they support racial quotas systems.
Liberals say that they support diversity. Real diversity is about acknowledging difference, enjoying those differences, but understanding those differences are important & when you do, you realise just how evil the ideology of multiculturalism is. Multiculturalism is the very antithesis of diversity, it is the destruction of human uniqueness. And of course multiculturalism was created by liberals.
