Why would any sane person be a conservative?
The right is literally doing logical loop-de-loops in order to meld together contradictory ideas.
Conservatives seem to care more about destroying the environment, then they do about the lives of unborn babies to live on this planet for the future generations.
Conservatives make jokes about practicing Muslims & they make excuses for Christian terrorists blowing up abortion clinics, killing and hurting nurses and doctors.
Conservatives say that they support free speech, but they are responsible for free speech zones to protest their leaders. Free speech zones is censorship by any name.
Conservatives say that they're against discrimination, but they do not support gay marriages.
Conservatives say that they support diversity.
Real diversity is about acknowledging difference, enjoying those differences, but understanding those differences are important & when you do, you realize just how wonderful the ideology of multiculturalism is.
Multiculturalism is the source of diversity, and it is the creation of human uniqueness.
The course multiculturalism was created by free thinking people.

In response to the environment thing. If they environment goes to hell, humanity will die off. What's the point about worrying about future generations if we are just going to poison them with poor air quality or poor water quality? So many environmental things have a negative effect on fetuses and young children.
I am probably stereotyping and for that I'm sorry, but to me, it seems that many (American) conservatives care more about human life before birth than human life after. An they they only care about their own kind (White Christian Americans).
Also, don't lump all liberals into one catagory. You should not do that, nor should one lump all conservaties in one category.
And I agree political correctedness has gone too far.
What is wrong with multiculturalism. It is a GREAT way to open your heart and eyes to others as well as EMPHASIZE one's own uniqueness.

Wow, I must be loopy craZy because I don't see how diversity somehow makes multiculturalism evil or that a few blastocytes are more important then the enviroment that affects all of our well being. I'm also crazy not to equate supporting the seperation of church and state with making fun of Christians, or support of civil rights with making excuses for terrorists.
The only thing I agree with you here is that political correctness is bullcrap, but I think most liberals would actually agree with me on that as well.

I really think most true liberals care too much, and by doing so are blinded by the reality of situations, and many times the facts. The leadership of this country on the Left abuses this condition. Not that the leaders on the Right are any better- they manipulate their base as well.
I don't hold anything against my liberal friends, except I think they are wrong.

OK, first off, I agree with the gentleman who stated that not all Liberals are the same so you can't group them all together. I'd like to think that Howard Dean, Nancy Pelosi, Harry Reid, Jack Murtha, Hillary Clinton, John Kerry and the rest of the Insane Clown Posse are in the minority and that real Democrats can't wait to get them OUT of office for all the damage they're doing to the Party.
That being said, when speaking of the whackjobs, you're proceeding from some false assumptions.
They don't care about the environment. They care about making money off people's ignorance about the environment.
They'd have you believe man is responsible so they can sell you Carbon Credits. Don't challenge them with the facts, though, because they can't handle that.
Look at the chick on here saying a fetus is a bunch of cells with no rights. If that's what she needs to tell herself to get her through the day without the guilt of what she's done, let her have it. She needs more help than you can give her.
The ACLU has made 'freedom of religion' into 'freedom FROM religion'... IF that religion is Christianity.
"Politically Correct" = "Reality Challenged"
Look, the moveon.org whackos and their Bush Derangement Syndrome DO need to go... and they are NOT sane...
but I am sure there are some real Democrats out there... moderate ones... who are still hoping for a real Democratic Candidate to arise and are waiting to retake the Party from the extreme left...
good luck to them, if you're out there
Oh, by the way... other Bryan...
Get your facts straight.
SCHIP isn't about children. That's a ploy to make people want to pass it. Those benefits extend to people up to 25 (you're a kid at 24?) and there is no CITIZENSHIP requirement... so we just give free health care to illegals!!!
READ a bill before running your mouth about it.

I don't even know where to start on this one.
I do agree on the political correctness issue. I find that trying to pigeon-hole someone into a specific titled group is only an invitation into a squabble over how much your phrasing upsets someone.
And if I'm reading your phrasing correctly, you're saying that people of various races can't marry and have children? Correct me if I'm wrong though. No wonder you're opposed to having gays marry- the thought of seeing a white woman "dumbing herself down" (from your apparent view) to marry a black man turns your stomach! Has it ever crossed your mind that very few of us, if any of us, are genuinely 100% our race with which we identify ourselves?
I have nothing wrong with practicing Christians, though I do feel that many born-agains have a "I am holier than thou" attitude towards people who have been Christians their whole lives, as well as people who practice other religions or no religion at all.
And- surprise- not every Muslim is a terrorist. And not every person from Israel is Jewish, and not every person from the rest of the Middle East is Muslim.
Case in point- my boss is Syrian and she has been a practicing CATHOLIC all her life. She grew up in Syria and now lives in the US.
If you wouldn't make such blanket BS statements about liberals and would wake up to reality, you'd see it really isn't as bad as you paint it to be.

The interesting thing I have found with liberals is that they see something wrong and come up with a different idea. It's often no better than the original problem or it creates a different problem, but at least they don't insist on sticking with a mistake for the sake of "principal".

Because we are smarter and make more money than conservatives!
Just because there is a law on the books saying it is legal to terminate a pregnancy doesn't mean we do not care. Unlike you, we are willing to support them after they are born while you are not.
The environment is a no brainer unless you are part of the greedy who make places like Love Canal!
I don't make any excuse for terrorist, but I am opposed to killing Muslims who are innocent, just as I would be killing hypocrite "Christians"! Attacking a country who had nothing to do with 9/11 or terrorism is not very Christian, is it?
And you are wrong about multiculturalism! It certainly isn't as evil as Adolph Hitler, whites only, slaves, practicing genocide on Indians or putting American citizens of Japanese ancestry in concentration camps in the US during WWII!. You forget that no one in the US spoke English when the first colonies were started and German lost by 1 vote of becoming the official language in the US! That my friend is evil!
We do not need anymore Adolph Hitlers! Or fascist Republicans who "act" like they are God when convenient!

The same question could be asked about conservatives, who want to protect unborn babies and kill everyone else. And also, don't forget, you want to take away health insurance from children who aren't insured. I guess it is more humane to allow them to die from curable diseases. The rest of what you say is nothing but talking points from right wing talking heads and are very broad and stereotypical. I am a practicing Christian, but I don't see why someone couldn't maybe choose a different religion and be branded a terrorist by ignorant conservatives who equate Muslim with terrorist because that is what the radio tells them to do. I am in support of free speech and believe that moveon.org and Rush Limbaugh equally have the right to make themselves appear foolish. I am not in support of quotas, but am in support of celebrating differences. Also, conservatives like to talk about diversity, while simultaneously wishing to crush anyone who is not heterosexual or Christian. Of course, like you, I am only generalizing. I know intelligent, sane, rational conservatives whom I respect, like my wife. There are irrational caricatures on both sides of the aisle, as well as perfectly sane, rational people, and this country won't come together and truly solve our problems until more people are willing to see that.
Actually, other Bryan, I have read H. R. 976, but, after your comment, I just re-read it. It clearly states that it is to cover pregnant women and children under the age of 19. Actually, there is a part that specifically says that it cannot be renewed for non-pregnant adults. As for illegals, again, I refer to the bill, it clearly says that the coverage would extend to legal immigrants, not illegal immigrants. It makes a point to specifically not cover illegal immigrants. So, have you read the bill you are chastising me for not reading? I'll bet you have read the Conservative talking points, though. Also, I can assume by your commenting solely on my mention of SCHIP, that you cannot refute my other points. Interesting...

You are SO wrong. I've never heard a lib make an excuse for a Muslim terrorist. On the other hand, I've heard cons frequently accuse ALL Muslims of being evil.
We do enjoy the diversity of our country. If you think multiculturalism leads to the destruction of human uniqueness, you need to consider that first and foremost, we are all humans.
Quit generalizing about libs. You obviously don't know enough about them. Your generalizations are proof of that.
