Actually look in FM 21-20. In there it states that PT will be during normal duty hours. We had this problem before in my unit where we were giving remedial PT after normal duty hours and we got in trouble.

Commander's (Unit) PT MUST be done during duty days. That's about the only regulation I know. Determining whether or not troops can take additional time out of duty hours during the week for personal fitness is really up to each unit's commander. Ours is funny: you can take up to 3 hours a week out of duty time for physical fitness... but the only way you're allowed to do that is by coming to unit PT twice a week.

the only authorized PT during work hours is command wide PT. Individual PT is not covered.

I'd say if there is such a reg, it would also state 'as mission permits'. Mission always comes first.

There is no such regulation. This is something that will be determined by local policy.
