For the Christians who take the Bible literally and actually believe they are drinking the blood of Christ and eating the body of Christ during communion, how is this not cannibalism? I could understand for those who believe it is used in a figurative sense...Someone explain this to me..because it would seem to me that eating human flesh and drinking blood are cannibalistic.

My daughter is 8 months and has gone past that feeding stage where she likes purees etc, she wants toast, fingerfood, lumpy (very) food and ideally our food...we have started serving dinner at a time so she can have alittle bit with us before bedtime and i have cooked some simple but good meals (obvioulsy without salt, sugar, ect) and she loooves eating with us...But now im running out of ideas of what to make and what to give her...i prefer to cook than give her ready meals and it seems like she prefers that too..

So there is a guy that i think is very special, he works at a restaurant that i tend to go to Sunday afternoons/evenings and i just found out recently that he was a Cancer. I know that he is attracted to me, because we were talking and he made the comment, "well you're a very pretty girl...", i eventually out of no where gave him my phone number, now im worried that i came across too hastily... after that i flirted w him like crazy he says he's going to call... so i hope so and no im not going to use him or play games w him or try to sleep w him... Anyhow what are cancer men like? id appreciate some examples of personal experiences...

I've done it the healthy way, drink tons of water (i think I was severly dehydrated before!) and eating right and excercising.... I know that I should have measured myself first but I can never seem to measure 'right' so I just decided to go by the scale (I use the same scale all the time, if that helps.), how I feel and what I see. It sounded like a good idea! But now I can't even tell where the weight is going from! Firstly Why is and this (any probable reasons?). Secondly is there a chart that shows the stages of weight loss? As in where people generally lose weight first to last...you always here people talk about the 'last frontier' in their weight loss...Help 10 points to anyone who can answer both!

i've heard that tearing is better, as it heals more strongly due to the interlocking fibers realigning. (episiotomies can be matched up a little off due to the smooth cut & therefore don't heal as strong)
is that right?

I have to repost because so many of you didn't understand the question.while calling my opinion racist most of you basically said the alternative to condi or clarence was a counter culture thug keeping it real.I like many others consider myself a educated, professional, moderate trying to build bridges where hannity and limbaugh have divided us. In trying to understand conservative thinking (oxymoron) i asked why black people in this administration have a proven track record of cosigning whatever their bosses say. there is no leadership from condi or clarence they blindy follow despite their stellar educations and reputations. is it to much to ask them to think and speak for themselves instead of high ranked puppets.

Why is so associated with poor parenting now, when 30 years ago it was perfectly acceptable and was a good way to teach them to behave? Now I know that there's the problem with child abuse and stuff, but if your kids are getting an occasional spanking for out of control or unacceptable behavior and this happens once in a while, what is so bad with it?

I have never meet them,and now the girl's have contacted us and want to come and live with us, the girls told us that their mother won't buy them clothes or sneaker's and that the oldest who is only 14 years old has a job and she has to buy her own stuff like for school and clothes I feel that at that age this child should not be working. But the NYC child support takes out $180.00 a week for child support and the girls said their mother told them that my husband doesn't support them, every week he gets this money taken out $180.00. One of the questions is the below poverty level line, I looked it up on a govt site, Is 12% of the population of IL. really that poor.
