I've done it the healthy way, drink tons of water (i think I was severly dehydrated before!) and eating right and excercising.... I know that I should have measured myself first but I can never seem to measure 'right' so I just decided to go by the scale (I use the same scale all the time, if that helps.), how I feel and what I see. It sounded like a good idea! But now I can't even tell where the weight is going from! Firstly Why is and this (any probable reasons?). Secondly is there a chart that shows the stages of weight loss? As in where people generally lose weight first to last...you always here people talk about the 'last frontier' in their weight loss...Help 10 points to anyone who can answer both!

Is it important to "see" rather than know it's gone?

What is happening is that you look in the mirror on a regular basis and the change is so gradual that you don't see it. That much weight most likely came off from all over, so the changes are small and seeminly invisible.

Everyone's body is different and there is no standard way of weight loss. The best way is to measure from now on. Maybe you can't notice because you have been losing a little bit from everywhere.

in the average person who is 20-30 lbs over weight, they can lose up to 20 lbs and only lose one inch in the waist, depending on your excersise/diet plan, it could be releasing denser fat cells, meaning that you're losing the fat but not all of it, making it less dense, and eventually once the more dense fat is gone is when the actuall weight loss is noticed
