I am confused by the statement that we are obligated by law yet we condemn the constant pushes from Taiwan to declare independence. Why not change our policy and stay the hell out of it? Otherwise risk a conflict with a country with a billion people dedicated to the the idea that they are the future rulers of the world. This is a tough one. I mean, after living on the mainland for quite sometime I get this ever growing feeling that the people are just itching for an excuse to prove their ever growing military. Any thoughts???

I have Windows XP and I have obtained some software which claims it will clean my Registry. However, I have been advised to backup the Registry just in case the software makes a mess of it. Can you tell me if this is an easy process and how to go about it?

i have a female and male betta fish in the same tank with a divider. he made his bubble nest and she's kinda plump and has a whit spot under her tummy. and the male keeps flaring his gills out. i don't know if they are ready.

If a woman knowingly exposes her fetus to drugs/alcohol/any harmful substances, should she be prosecuted in the criminal justice system?

This is an issue actually being considered right now. These substances can cause physical harm, birth defects, and addiction in the baby when it is born. I just wanted to see everyone's opinions.

I know people are going to post some really stupid answers so only seriouse answers please.
I have been trying to meditate to open my third eye. When I did it today I heard a little boy say help. Then I asked why and he said he can't. I asked why and he said that some one will hurt him. Then I stopped because I was confused. Was that my imagination ? My house is new and it is not haunted. Could some one give me any advice please?

I was looking at the preview for the new season and i was wondering why they bobby was geting the cold shoulder from other cops when he shows up at, wat looks like to be, a funeral?

Also bobby refers to himself as "the nut case" && his partner tell him something about how watever is going on in the new season that its her life and not one of his puzzles....



I'm just wondering....so that when i start to watch the new season i'm some wat up too speed...thanks......

Unfortuntely, my eyesight has deteriorated to the point in which I can't see a thing (granted it's a fairly long distance away) without my glasses. I usually don't wear my glasses because I usually don't have to read things far away from me on a daily basis. Recently, I heard that someone who needs glasses and doesn't wear them is straining their eyes. If I don't wear my glasses more often, am I going to have an even harder time seeing eventually?

When I was born, my father was a roman catholic and my mother was a maronite catholic. I know this would make me a roman catholic since I am what my father is. When I was 12, my father switched and became a maronite catholic since he attended a maronite church. At this point, did I become a maronite as well? The reason I am asking is that I have to know which one I am now to see what I must do (if anything) to get married in a Roman Catholic church. I am marrying a Roman catholic so I don't think being maronite will prevent me from doing this since he's roman and I know that after the wedding I will then be Roman. But I'd still like to know what rite I am now. Any advice on this would be great. Thanks!

people are making a big deal about the teams that undefeated and use terms like all year....when the season started this month..if thats the case then it would be the steelers and the cowboys in the super bowl! which would be great! but do you think people are jumping to conclusions too fast and not really letting the season totally get underway?
