Sorry, but your doctor is correct. They are normal and there is no "cure".

Pearly penile papules are nothing to worry about and are very normal and quite common. There is absolutely no chance of them becoming malignant. It is not known why they develop but they are not an STD and are totally harmless. There is absolutely no correlation to pearly penile papules and hygiene. They are more common in uncircumcised men and in those in their 20s and 30s. Don't worry about it...they are nothing!

Being uncircumcised isn't a problem... why would that be a problem. Also why would a bend be a problem? Most men have some sort of curve in their penis. No one's body is perfect, so you can't exspect yours to be. Yes there is a treatment for pearly penile papules. Several infact so contact a urologist and talk to him about what your options are in that area. Most men in Canada are uncircumcised.... so no they don't "freak out". It's only a myth that they do. It's about the man, not the penis. PPP are not that uncommon, however it really doesn't matter if you are the only one in your school with them or not. If you don't like having them then get them treated. Also if you haven't been to see a doctor how do you know for sure it's PPP. It could just be inflammed hair follicles or fordyce spots which almost all men have. -Connor
