well, the theory is "STRING THEORY" this theory says that there are parallel universes and that maybe those parallel universes had collided with our universe and have created the expansion of the universe.

Do you believe it?

By the way, string theory is a beautiful theory that says that we don’t need a god to make sense of the universe; do you eat that piece of crap? If so, give your rationale as to why you believe this theory is true?

Also I have a question, if you don’t have your own criteria and opinion on scientific evidence, doesn’t that makes you an ignorant person?

for expample, is a scientist tells you that the universe will collapse in on itself do you believe what he or she tells you? or do you just believe it?

A lady goes to the doctor to see about getting a facelift.

"Well," says the doctor, "I can do the facelift, and then you'll have to come back in six months for a follow-up."

"Oh, no." the woman replies. "I want it all done in one shot. I don't want to have to come back."

The doctor thinks for a second, then offers, "There is a new procedure where we put a screw in the top of your head. Then anytime you see wrinkles appearing, you just give it a little turn, which pulls the skin up and they disappear."

"That's what I want!" exclaims the lady. "Let's do that."
Six months later the lady charges into the doctor's office.

"Well, how's the procedure holding up?" the doctor asks.
"Terrible!" the lady bellows. "It's the worst mistake I've ever made."

"What's wrong?" asks the doctor.
"Just look at these bags under my eyes!" she hollers.

"Lady," the doctor reports, "those aren't bags, those are your boobs, and if you don't leave that screw alone, you're going to have a beard!"

The Millenium Simulation was completed in 2007 by a group of astronomers. It covers billions of light years in distance and approximately 20 billion galaxies.

Here are three high quality videos of it:

The simulation is an accurate reproduction of 20 million galaxies, comprising only a small part of the observable universe. Each point of light is a galaxy made up of billions of stars.

Does anyone feel as awed by this as I do? Earth is so small on the scale of things, a mere speck of dust. I'm curious if this influences your perspective at all, especially if you are religious.

A virile, young Italian soldier was relaxing at his favorite bar in Rome, when he managed to attract a spectacular young blonde tourist. Things progressed to the point where he invited her back to his apartment, and after some small talk, they made love.

After a pleasant interlude, he asked with a smile, "So... you finish?" She paused for a second, frowned, and replied "No."

Surprised, the young man reached for her and the love making resumed. This time she thrashes about wildly and there are screams of passion. The lovemaking ends, and again, the young man smiles, and asks, “You finish?"

And again, after a short pause, she returns his smile, cuddles closer to him, and softly says, "No."

Stunned, but damned if this woman is going to outlast him, the young man reaches for the woman. Using the last of his strength, he barely manages it, but they climax simultaneously, screaming, bucking, clawing and ripping bed sheets.

The exhausted man falls onto his back, gasping. Barely able to turn his head, he looks into her eyes, smiles proudly, and asks, "You finish!?" "No!" she shouts back, "I Swedish!"

Believing in such twisted concepts as anyone who doesn't believe that Jesus was divine will go to Hell? I've been struggling to get myself around that one for the longest time, and I could never be able to sleep with myself at night if I let myself believe that. What denominations have a less literal interpretation of the Bible and take it for its message.

Beyond the logical flaws of taking the Bible in anywhere near a literal realm, people forget that Jesus liked to speak in parables and metaphors all the time, really no need for all this fire and brimstone nonsense. Would their be any good denomination for me?
