As most here are aware, Jesus performed many miracles such as healing and curing the sick, infirmed and demon-possessed. While he performed many, this one event really sticks out.

Before the passover, Jesus performed one of his most remarkable miracles-raising a dead man who was buried for 4 years. Because of this there was much popular excitement, and the religious leaders said among themselves: “What are we to do, because this man performs many signs? If we let him alone this way, they will all put faith in him, and the Romans will come and take away both our place and our nation.” (John 11:1-48)

The Jewish leaders here acknowledged the resurrection of the deceased individual, not attributing the raising of the dead to any trickery, yet they did not place faith and accept Jesus as the Messiah. How can this be reconciled? Please, serious replies only.

Its in perfect shape with fresh white paint, no dents,new tires,shocks,and numerous engine upgrades. It has an 1100 watt stereo, sunroof and never gives me any crap. Its an 89 and is more reliable than many newer cars ive owned.

Well, I'm not really at a point where I feel comfortable to talk about my personal problems yet. I'm just looking to be prescribed some medication to (hopefully) correct my problems.

I'm a 27 year old male and I've had many untimely deaths in my family that thrust me into a place I'm not really ready to be in. I have a lot of pent up anger toward myself for being what I see as a failure at life. I also have anger toward my parents(both deceased) for what I feel was them not looking out for my future. I don't mean to, but I project this anger onto everyone around me, in the workplace, my friends. It's really starting to affect me as I alienate everyone around me. What type of doctor would possibly be able to offer some kind of help until I feel comfortable to finally open up and talk about things?

I'm also extremely shy around anyone I don't know well, so I think I suffer from social anxiety disorder, so a two for one doctor would be much appreciated. ^_^

I found a great investment property to buy but do not want my name on it. Is it reasonable to sign a deal with a partner where he buys the property under his name, he takes care of arranging the mortgage and downpayment, then we flip it meaning sell it within a couple months and split the profit 50% 50%? Is it fair to expect 50% of the profit becasue I found the property he would not be able to find without me, although I am not offering to pay anything/finance it? THANKS

my english class has to read a historical fiction book. myy teacher said "summer of my german soldier" is a good book. she had it so i thought id borrow it and so i did. but before i start to read it, i just wanted to know somee feedback about the book. is it hard to read? will me, as an 8th grader, understand the meanings and theme of the book? will it keep me going, and not bored like other books? i hope its a book that once i start reading i cannot put downn. tell me what you think! thanksss :]

My father-in-law is a contractor and agreed to build our house for us (my husband actually ended up doing the vast majority the contracting). My husband gave his father some blank, signed checks to pay subs with or buy materials. Recently, we had almost $15,000 worth of checks to Lowes clear the bank, checks written by the father-in-law. When asked what the items were, he replied appliances, even though we bought the appliances from Sears (and who really pays that much for appliances?). We stopped payment on the checks until FIL produces invoices to us and the bank. He has now threatened to put a lien on our house if we don't pay the $14,079.92. Can he do that? What should I do to keep this from happening? What are the repercussions?

I was reading some things and I told myself "I'll get StressCoat!" But something caught my eye about Aloe Vera. It was about how it might cause your fish's gills to go bad or something. Then I read something about Amquel Plus and it was a negative thing aswell. Right now I use AquaSafe and I'm not sure if I should trust it. if he were 600 months old, he would be 50... having only 3 children and no grandchildren would be much more believable.
and that's a low estimate... considering there were no contraceptives and television back then, he could have had 20 children at 50.

Can they not keep good female actresses, or are they just silly enough to write the good ones out of the plot? I'm getting pretty sick of the strong female leads I like (Tara, Clarence's girlfriend, lady on pregnancy leave, etc.) disappearing from the show. What about Rene Aberjunois (sp)? Did he choose to leave, or was he asked to, anybody know?

I'll be traveling to Moscow later this year and have never been to Russia before, so I have a few questions:

1. Any recommendations for good books on Cyrillic (so I can read the signs) and traveler's Russian? I am going as part of a work group so we'll have Muscovites with us but I'd like to know at least a little bit of the language (I am a native English speaker with no Russian, I have started trying to learn some Cyrillic/Russian but I don't have time for a full course). Especially interested in good beginner's podcasts - I liked Spoonful of Russian but she has stopped producing new versions for now.

2. Good places to go or things to see during a 3-4 day trip? Of course Red Square and the Kremlin and St. Basil's, and old Arbat Street was recommended to me, plus a boat ride.

3. Tips for staying out of trouble? I don't want to hide in the hotel but I've heard some pretty tough stories from others of one-way cab rides and shakedowns by the militsiya.

Any help appreciated. Thanks.
