Hi Sweetie,
It's a Gynaecologist, however he's the one ya see all throughout r pregnancy & also delivers the babies as well, my Gyno has hundreds o' picture's of the beautiful babies he's delivered 2 in his office.
As a matter of fact he's doing after 4 yrs. another "Balloon Ambulism" look it up if u like, (hard 2 explain) & D&C on me on Oct. 22nd, however a D&C is like a Dust & Clean
where he scapes the wall of r uterous for fibroids, lil tumour like cysts that grow there
that'll make r period very painful. He also does Laporoscopy's which is a lil incision right below r bellybotton & with a scope inside u looks 4 abnormalities, like fibroids,
cysts, tumours, etc oh yeh, pap smears too,
which may include a biopsy to determine wether u have a decease, growth, r any abnormality inside r uterous that has 2 be removed in an operation. That's all I can think of now, & pretty much covers his job!
Someday u'll have to see 1, but hoping it's not for a long time to come! lol
LOL, Diana D

Your primary care doc deals with the vagina but the doc you mean is a gynocologist. They specialize in dealing with female problems.
