Girlfriend hates my Sunbird, why?

Its in perfect shape with fresh white paint, no dents,new tires,shocks,and numerous engine upgrades. It has an 1100 watt stereo, sunroof and never gives me any crap. Its an 89 and is more reliable than many newer cars ive owned.

Well it is one of two things. First, thats awesome, 1100 watts. Sweet. Maybe that hurts her ears. Or it could be too old for her, after all it is an 89. the only thing I could think of is if she's jealous and wishes it were her own...

It is not a 2006 Pontiac GTO with the V-8 roar. It is a 19 year old car that was made before she was born? Come on guy set your sights higher get a job buy a house buy a car get into the swing of things. And be in debt up to your eyeballs. Sunbird will not win you any hot lady points A Mercedes Benz SLK will. Even a Subaru with that new car smell is worth 10 points. After the car has been discontinued 10 years you get minus points.. And even more minus points for putting a $1,000 lould sterio in a $725 dollar car. Girls are funny creatures they just like nice. We Guy's will never understand!

First off, is this current girlfriend a serious relationship? I would really hope so seeing as how you have had her around your child. Don't just bring any ol' thang around your baby. Next, has your ex girlfriend been behaving like an evil hateful ***** to your current girlfriend? If so, that might have a LOT to do with how she is reacting to your kid. If this is the case, you need to have a serious sit down conversation with her, explain to her that she needs to stay clear of your relationship and be respectful, even if just for your son's best interest. If both women are just a pain in the ***...lose the one you can afford to lose, namely the current girlfriend. Hope this helps!

No disrespect towards your girlfriend but she sounds like she's always got to have the best, most expensive of everything. I had a 1991 Sunbird and I loved that little car. I wrecked it, though and couldn't get it fixed to run right, again and sold it. It was metallic blue with blue interior. I called her my "Blue Bird".

maybe she don't like loud music,who knows with girls ,it could be that you spend a lot of time with your car ,women have reasons for things that men will never find out about or ever know about,all you can do is try and get along with them,my wife hates my truck,and its a perfect vehicle ,she just wont drive it and doesn't want to ride in it,i been trying to find out why for 5 years now,and still don't know the answer,like me you may never find out either,good luck.

It reflects who you are and what you are! Cheap! Get into the 21st Century and buy yourself a new car. They are safer to drive, with airbags, more fuel efficient and Ozone friendly. Or, dump the broad and marry your car. Choices you have to make. Good Luck.. I say buy a new car and dump the nag.

Perhaps she's only attracted to alpha males. It's not unusual. Even more common, it may be her friends. She might be more comfortable about her place in the female pecking order if you drove something like a BMW M6.
