Hang them before the petals start to fall off,or as soon as you notice them falling. You need to hang them upside down in a dry place - I use my garage. I hang them for about a month and then spray them with a dried flower protector spray ( easily available at any craft store) I then cover them with non acidic paper - also available at craft store - and store them in a box. You can also leave them in a vase for quite a while - just make sure the area is dry.

Flowers you wish to preserve should be cut at the exact moment of bloom you wish to preserve. A wonderful way to do that is too snip the stalks at different times so you will be able to see all the stages from bud to full bloom. Collect them, group them and arrange them, then go to a hobby shop and buy the preservation spray and wire for them. Tie them loosely, winding the wire over and above the lower shoots and hang them upside down to dry. Good luck.

Two dozen, lucky girl!!! Good for you... I take a paper-clip and unbend it in the middle so it makes an S-hook... Put the stem in one end of the hook and bend it closed gently, just enough to hold -- if you do this just below a leaf-joint it will hold pretty well. Then use the hook on the other end to hang the flower wherever you want -- from the window-blinds, a clothes hanger, a laundry-line... even from a string stretched between two nails in the wall. Another option is to just dry the blooms and possibly a few leaves, break them apart, and add a few drops of your favorite scented oil. Makes a lovely potpourri...

Cut just as they are starting to open. Hang in a dim place with good airflow.
I just use twine to tie small bunches.
Some flowers do not dry well. So give it a chance and see.

Yes, hang them in a warm dry place so that they dry out faster. They will likely lose a lot of color or the color may deepen or change, but they will eventually dry. Spray them with hairspray to keep them "together". When dryed, turn them over and put them in a vase.

Yes, you can.
I would hang them by tying a rubber band around the stems.
I would do it right before they start to wilt and tilt ver.
