Let's agree that the expression "design" is applicable to some objects. Why does it matter that some human beings or advanced life forms have created the object? In your answer, consider that our thoughts are controlled by the laws of nature. Is it just an arbitrary convention? If the creators are viruses, can we say there is a design? If they are complex molecules?

Also, why the creator(s) must be separated from the created object? What about a structured army of ants? I personally don't mind using the term design for the entire universe, especially since we are a part of it.

Please, don't refer to chaos theory or to the notion of emergence, etc. without answering the question "Where do you draw the line?" If it is just an arbitrary convention that some separated advanced life form must have created the object, then just say it. Unless of course, you are just against any use of the term "design", even when human beings are the creators. I just want to know.

Hi i was thinking of buying a pet rabbit but i have 2 collie dogs they are 4 and 6 are quite hyper but great with kids. What i was wondering given their breed if they would be likley to attack the rabbit. They have never shown sighns of being vitious but arn't too keen on other dogs apart from my mums collie

Sorry if I sound mad but I have noticed that pretty much everyone who was famous in 1985 aged or became less popular in 1986. Is this because of change in fashion or was there something in the atmosphere that damaged peoples skin? (I know it sounds crazy but I don't think I've imagined it!)

I have DVDs from Region 1 and Region 4 - all purchased legally! Why is it that Windows only "allows" me to change regions 4 times before it is fixed on one region? Why shouldn't I be allowed to view my legal property (the DVDs) with my legal property (my legal copy of Windows)?

My husband and i haven't talked to his brother in over three years because this is the kind of !@#$ that he pulls. So instead of dealing with the abuse, we simply just stopped talking to him.(trust me it hurt because we were so attatched to his children) So anyways here I am looking for local providers and I typed in my husbands name and loe and behold here pops up my hubbies name who has never lived in this town. What do we do? The reason i ask is:
Many of the regulars on this page already know that we lost our only child five years ago. The day he was born, hubby said, "A boy, Our Boy! :) that is what we've called him ever since.
Today should have been his wedding anniversary and while doing my chores I was thinking about how happy the wedding had been. Of course that led to me thinking sad thoughts. I refuse to let myself get upset any more. So I popped to the shed to see my usually happy hubby.

I asked if he was ok. He replied," Not really, I was thinking about Our Boy" I'm not telling you the rest of the chat but it made me wonder.
This happens with us quite a lot, I suppose we are on the same wave length.

Why do we both have the same thoughts come into our minds at the same time?

Mine is music: ily because music is what I live for, what keeps me alive. Music is my anti-drug. Some people smoke pot or marajuana because "it lets you slip away from the world," I listen to music for that same reason: all you have to do is plug in the headphones. :)

I have never been out of the country before, so I don't know anything about flight expenses or anything like that.
Does anyone have a rough idea on how much I would need to go to Savannah Georgia,U.S.A,How much in American $ and a conversion to Australian $. I would like to go for roughly two weeks. How far is it to the historic part of Savannah from the city?
