I can understand (although disagree with) the vegan argument that dairy/poultry/beef production is inhumane, but I do not understand the aspect that being vegetarian is somehow better for the earth. What about all the agrichemicals, diesel fuel, and vast amounts of water used to produce any ag product? People who also buy only organics (the minority) can argue the first item somewhat, but it still requires a lot of water and energy to produce your soy, wheat germ, and vegetables. Not to mention, organic vegetable production is far from being overwhemingly successful (if it were, it would be the norm). So, without being combative, what say you?

We have a guinea pig. His bedding is pine shavings. I looked at a previous answer and found that rodent bedding is fine to go into a compost bin.

I cannot have a compost bin outside, due to community regulations. I'm certain that my hubby would be very against having one inside! Finances are tight, so I would not be able to even buy one of those nifty countertop bins, although we are considering saving for one in the future for kitchen waste.

So, my question is: Can I just turn the used shavings (with the guinea pig poop in them) into the soil? We do not have a ton of garden space, as we live in a condo, but I hate to just throw out the stuff if it is usable.

My mom has these bags under her eyes and she says they kinda itch and burn (sorry if this sounds gross to you) Her skin under her eyes is also swollen and red. I am worried about her but she will never go to the doctor. They have been there for a long time now. Do any of you guys know what it could be and what she can do to get rid of them? And could an inadequate amount of sleep be the problem? (She works a night job so she doesn't get much sleep sometimes)

She was at the groomers on Wednesday for a haircut and since Thursday, she has had diahrrea-could she have picked up a bug there? Do I call my groomer to see if any dogs were sick that day? what can I feed my shih-tzue/poodle mix, about 13 pounds until I can take her to the Vet on Monday?

Perhaps this uncovers the hidden mystery of conciousness. Deep down, indivisible particles Aka. Atoms became "Aware" of other Atoms. These atoms that are "Aware" combined to make a whole.
I.E. The 95 trillion atoms that make you ... U are all aware of eachother. This awareness combined to make one whole (You), thus came conciousness. We are able to look at and perceive other atoms because are atoms are aware.

My brother has borderline personality disorder. My family, especially my parents, we all are suffering immensely. I am the oldest and he is the baby of the family. We have 12 years age difference. I am single, with no kids and he is very important to me. He is a time bomb and regularly has explosive temper tantrum that are very painful to deal with. He lives with my aging parents and I suffer to see them tolerate those outburst of rage followed by I love you, I am sorry, I will never do it again to restart the anger cycle over again. I am looking for an online support group. Can you give me information on where I can find such online support group. I am riding the emotional roller coaster and i am at the end of my rope. Help!

Whats the deal with them? They fired Willingham OK. He wasnt up to the Notre Dame standards of winning championships and being white. Weiss comes in with Willinghams players and still doesnt win a bowl game and now has the worst season ever in Notre Dame history and they give him an extension!!?? Hes had 2 years to get his own players and instead he gets an extension. Weiss has only proven to be an assistant coach nothing else and he is stinking it up in college so why do they give the guy an extension after being the 1st coach ever in Notre Dame history of 119 years instead of seriously being on the HOT SEAT???

ok so many ppl disagreed with me in my last question about tattoos, had anyone EVER heard a pastor talk about tatoos?
i know in the main factor believing in god, is wats the most important, but really, its those little things that still take u farther away form god.
did you know? killing someone, and maybe cheating on a test, is just as bad as eachother? if u weren't close to god, u would go to hell. even if u are, u still could. now if u get saved, yes u are garanteed to eternal life in heaven, but u don't stop at that and think the little things don't matter?
