I happen to believe they occur and I know of a retreat where prayer is constant and healings are performed (successfully from what I've been told).

My friend is very pragmatic and not prone to spiritual issues. Of course that may change as she is looking at a terminal illness.

Would discussing the possibilities of a miracle healing help her (because it can work) or would it just make matters worse by giving her false hope, or offending her?

Where does one draw the line?

I'm in 10th grade and recently we have been analyzing poems in English Literature. Last class we analyzed the song Eleanor Rigby by the Beatles to get a break from the poems. Now our assignment is to find and analyze (with notes about language devices such as connotation etc, tone, metaphors, general theme, etc etc) a song of our choice and go through it with the class next lesson. I want a "deep" meaningful song that can be analyzed thouroughly... Doesn't matter from what time period/genre. I wanna impress my teacher =D haha

I haven't had the privilege of meeting or speaking to an anointed brother or sister, so I was just wondering if there are any on here? Maybe it's a small chance on Y/As, but if you do know of any in your congregation maybe you could give us a story? Like I said it's probably a small chance but at least someone else may know one.

I don't mind if you prefer to email me for more privacy. I also know that an anointed one wouldn't want to draw attention to oneself, but it is just a question from me.

I brought my camera to a parade, to take pictures of the parade scenes. Someone said, "what are you doing?" I said, "I'm taking pictures of the parade scenes." They said I can't take pictures of people without their permission.
I don't believe that for a minute...photography has been around since the 1800s, and if that were true, Kodak would have been sued years ago.
Is it illegal?

My husband and I have been in counseling for over a year because when I was pregnant I discovered that he was having an emotional affair. He is a very immature (think Johnny Knoxville) kind of a guy.

Last night, I found an email that he sent to a sales rep/friend of his. The subject was "Is this what you want?" no text in the body--- just an attachment--- a picture of the head of his penis really close up!!!! What does that mean to you?

So, I started looking at all his emails with this girl: One was an email from her that had a "love advice article" attached to help him. The text of her email said that she thought "your wife and your problem is your pride. I don't talk down to you & I never will." What does that imply to you?

I asked him about this crap, and he said that he wasn't having an inappropriate rltnshp with her. He seemed sincere. My gut is telling me that he was just being stupid & immature by sending the email.... But I think it looks bad from the outside.
