I'm taking a job based 1/2 in Northridge, CA and the other 1/2 traveling so I'll need access to LAX (or another commercial airport) about 4 times a month. I'll be renting either a condo or apartment and my budget is about 1500-1700 a month. Where's the best place to start looking for a place? I'm 30, single, male, straight... looking for fun community and it doesn't have to be the center of nightlife but does need to have a personality.

I'm working on an Excel problem I'm having. I'm creating a receipt program so that when people buy things at my store their name comes up on the receipt thanking them. I have a database of names and every name is connected to a specific gender M or F. Basically how do I tell excel to change M into "Mr." or if it is F to "Mrs."

my mom wants to get a hotel room when we go visit my neighbors daughter (my best friend) in college next week instead of driving home for an hour. She wanted to get one that didnt have a pool or wireless. So im used to going to like the best so its hard for me to just not go to a good one. so i said if theres no pool or wireless then ill just stay at home for the night and drive home. she freaked out. and told me i should get a hotel room and pay for it myself if im going to be a brat about it. Was I wrong?

Too much evidence is piling up indicating Russia is developing greater military might, new weapons and better delivery systems as well as the will to misuse them to intimidate.
What is your view of this trend?

i just bought this lawn mower, i've used it once a couple of weeks ago. it worked fine. altho, i did hit a big rock with it. i decided to mow the grass today, being the second time to use it. nothing. no turn over or anything. i dont know much about lawn mowers. yes, i did put the right gas and oil in it. the oil came with the mower. could the rock have messed it up some how?

I am very concerned with the amount of people living here illegally. I would like to know which candidate I should vote for so that we can see a step in the right direction toward this issue. Also global warming is huge and I would like to see some improvement on this issue. I don't list the war here because there is going to be improvement on this issue know matter which candidate we pick, this judgment is in the hope that these candidates will respect the majority of the American people.

Think about it. They have as much hard proof as Christianity. Carbon dating has always been proven to never really work perfect, so that doesn't really fly. They still haven't figured out how those incredible complex bacterias popped out of the rocks. The haven't found any 'pre-bacteria organism that are simpler, so it is all based on faith. faith they came from monkeys, slime and rocks, faith that maybe one day they might find out a way it could have happened., faith that by adding a few more billion years to their time frame, it might be a bit more possible. Thus, their whole thesis is based on as much faith as Christianity. Its a religion, no? and, no, DNA did not randomly assemble itself. its like assuming some drops the plains to a Ferrari Enzo, and suddenly, after billions of years, a factory pops up and a shiny red car rolls out.

Opinions, everybody! And please make them intelligent....

u will need mortgage, potentially for 30+ years
when u add kids to finance it will get even worse
next 30 years u will spend on working hard and getting old
then u will be ill and too late for fun.
any way around?
