Jake,
thanks for answering my question earlier.
First, on this question - no doubt Wake Forest beats Army today. They have had a tough schedule thus far, this WAS an opportunity however, for the WF to step up to the plate and start earning some respect.
Nothing personal - it's College Football.
Michigan by the way beats ND and Lloyd Carr still loses his job at the end of the season. At least UM has all season long to start coaxing the right person (i.e., Tedford - Cal, Miles - LSU) to come in and take the program over.
Have a good one - enjoy the day!

This year is payback for the "Big House" victory of Michigan over Notre Dame -- Denard Robinson in 2011 had 310 total yard of offense in the final 17 minutes 13 seconds Notre Dame will score early often and resoundingly

Not so surprised about Wake.....but they don't have surprise going for them this season. I think they are still a good team, and will pick up. WF will win today.
I cannot feel that confident about your Wolverines or my Irish. We suck this year, and that's the simple truth. But it is still college football, and one of the best rivalry traditions in football, so may the least crappy team win.
And sometimes I think both of our programs need to be a little less optimistic in our scheduling. OSU plays Youngstown and Akron....Spud U tires out USC so bad they need a week off. The Wolverines....App ST..(bad choice in confidence games....a better team than 75% of 1A ball), and Oregon (who look dang hot.....PAC 10 looks to be on a tear this season.....While the SEC is not looking like their usual dominant selves.), While the Irish play GT and Penn. Ouch.
The good news? As the two most winningest programs in college ball......at least both teams have a bit of a cushion. OSU and USC have a long way to go before they threaten that.

Unfortunately Wake refused to schedule their cupcakes at the beginning of the season. They put a tough task ahead of them by starting out with Boston Coll. and Nebraska. They do have upcoming games at two service academies so that should help, and Duke is still in the ACC so odds are they are coming up soon.

WF lost that game as I recall.
no rea rea, I believe they could play to a tie...
Dude, those schedules were made years ago when they were thought to be easy wins. Face it, Carr was not prepared and the better teams won. It was precious to see the maize and blue stomped into submission on their home turf. Get used to it, OSU is gonna wipe the field up with the 'weens.
