Have you or someone you know ever been spared by fate? I'm curious. I believe that everyone is put on this earth for a reason, and if they are about to encounter a situation that is not in their pre-planned destiny, something will happen that will keep them on track.

I want to test the consciousness of plants. I am looking to buy four plants...two I will pet, kiss and water...and two I will just water regularly.

I need a plant that is less resilient...with a short life span...so I'm not waiting years to get my results. I live in New York.

On online discussion boards, whenever someone says Bush is the worst US president ever, one of his very few remaining supporters says something like, "That's what they said about Abraham Lincoln."

Indeed, Lincoln went through a period of unpopularity, however there's a few key differences between him and Bush.

1. Lincoln's foreign policies didn't suck. Lincoln managed to maintain decent relations with other countries, unlike Bush who has turned most of the world against us.

2. Lincoln won his war in four years. Bush's war has passed the four year mark, with no end in sight. Even Bush has stated that the war will go past his presidency.

3. Lincoln tried to avoid his war. He waited until the other side threw the first punch at Ft. Sumter. (I'm referring to Iraq BTW, NOT Afghanistan. )

4. Lincoln made it very clear he disapproved of the fact that he had to go to war, and several great anti-war quotes were made by him. Bush has had nothing but good to say about Iraq.

Participating in this forum has revealed to me the alarming proliferation of apostate Chritsianity. It should come as no surprise since Jesus himself prophesied this as part f the last days.(Matthew 7:15, 24:24) However, before I discontinue my regular participation in the R&S forum, I'd like to open up an extended discussion ( Over the next few days) about the history of Christendom, that is, the realm of sectarian activity dominated by religions that claim to be Christian.

Ok i asked this question once and apprently i didnt give enough details. I got answers like, Eve's song and even High school musical when I asked for Schwartz's music... I'm a guy, 14 years old. I'm a sophomore. I'm auditioning for my school's rendition of Cats. I'm looking for a really upbeat song from Stephen Schwartz or anything related to his style. I really admire his songs like Day by Day(Godspell) and Corner of the Sky(Pippin) and almost every song from Wicked. I'm looking perhaps something less familar but familiar enough that I can find the accompaniment for it(yes its required for me to find a CD accompaniment) which means DEFINITELY nothing from Wicked, perhaps something that requires a long held belt note at the end. I do not have that high of a voice, I'm a baritenor without the range if that makes sense. I just havent found my natural high range so most female(non-love song and not too feminine of course) belt numbers would work for me.
