Like most religions they have a very violent history.
I am afraid most of Christendom is full of pagan symbols and philosphy and holidays and pagan teachings.
There partication in wars and revolutions and persacution of others is all in recorded history how they have a kingdom over the kings of the earth.

Wow! what a question! It would probably take a 3 page essay to fully explain this. During the first century Christs apostles fought mightily against apostate influence in the Christian congregation. (Note 2 Peter 3:1, 2, 17; Colossians 2:8; 1 Corinthians 1:22, 23) In it's first 400 years Christianity went from the pure and undefiled form or worship established by Jesus Christ, to a badly aduterated form of worship that became the fundamental teachings of Christendom..
The Church took over some religious customs and forms common in pre-Christian/pagan Rome The Roman Church followed in the footsteps of the Roman state. Apostate Christians of the second century took on the trappings of the pagan Roman religion. They moved away from their pure Biblical origins and instead clothed themselves with pagan Roman garb and titles and became imbued with Greek philosophy. In the second century, there was a great influx into Christianity of “philosophically trained gentiles.” These admired the wisdom of the Greeks and thought they saw similarities between Greek philosophy and teachings of the Scriptures.
Greek philosophy and terminology infiltrated Christendom’s teachings, especially in the fields of Trinitarian doctrine and the belief in an immortal soul. Nearly all the religions of Christendom today follow the belief that the soul is immortal. All pagan religions teach this also. All of this is in contrast to the teachings of Christ.

There were 400 silent years when God didn't speak to His people between the Old and New Testament. Christendom didn't get labeled until the middle of the first century. technically, Christendom started Right after Calvary when Jesus rose from the dead! This is the starting point of the dispensation of Grace.

inhabitants develop is something that Doomsday enthusiasts have been speaking approximately for years. It replaced into as quickly as believed that the Human inhabitants ought to no longer exceed 4 billion through fact there does not be sufficient room in the international for each individual to stay and nevertheless have the means to consume or perhaps breath. presently the inhabitants is around the 6 billion mark and that i for possible nevertheless breath and there continues to be nutrition. in fact there is feilds that are being left fallow for the subsequent year or 2 so an more desirable high quality of nutrition could be produced. We as a spiecis have the means to think of and plan for destiny activities. No different animal has that means or a minimum of to the quantity that we've. A squirle for example isn't storing nuts through fact it extremely is acquainted with iciness is coming and has to make beneficial it has sufficient for the comprehensive iciness, like a nut an afternoon. It shops nutrition through fact this is programed into this is DNA and instincts. i've got those days examine comments, no longer by using a single "scientist" yet ones that have been printed by using a extensive team that certainly quite researched the area and got here up with the variety that if we don't strengthen our contemporary nutrition, housing and straightforward scientific expertise, that the Human inhabitants can attain approximately 12 billion until now we attain intense issues. So it takes us approximately 10 years to strengthen by using one billion and that may no longer counting the indisputable fact that the international inhabitants is very excellent heavy meaning that there are alot extra previous human beings than youthful ones. easily there'll be issues that pop up, no person will see them coming and that they are going to be finally delt with. we can proceed to strengthen as a human beings and our inhabitants will strengthen besides.

The first 300 years (definitely 100 years AC) to my understanding (off the top of my head) reveal that:
- They didn't do anything pagan
- They preached about the kingdom of God wherever they went
- They didn't have big fancy Churches (Christians gathered in homes).
- They didn't celebrate birthdays (not even Jesus' birthday)
- They were "no part of this world", they didn't support anything to do with politics (becoming a soldier or supporting any kind of war was strictly forbidden)
- They were persecuted (either by Romans, or even their fellow "brothers"; Jews)
- They didn't teach the trinity (this controversial hearsay became doctrine in about 325 BCE via bishops in Nicea in Asia Minor)
- They were organized (they had elders who looked after the congregation, and traveling "overseers" who made sure teachings were in harmony with what Jesus taught).
- They expelled unrepentant wrongdoers from the congregation to keep it "clean"
The list goes on but I can't remember any more.

The early Christians were very much like the JWs are today. The general population found them annoying because of their proselytizing. They were considered excellent citizens and taxpayers. Upholding their faith was difficult because of the idolatry around them.
The early Christians were further criticized because they claimed to possess the truth of the one true God. They were not open to ecumenism or interfaith, and hostile to other religions.
In 202 C.E. Emperor Septimius Severus issued an edict forbidding the Christians to make converts. According to Latourette, "In its refusal to compromise with the current paganism and with many of the social customs and moral practices of the time (early Christianity) developed a coherence and an organization which set it over against society. The very break required to join it gave to its adherents a conviction which constituted a source of strength against persecution and of zeal in winning converts."

The early years reveal a true nature of the Christian church. There was purity in its teachings. Apostasy existed, however, it was quickly identified and dismissed by most followers.
