There are no "average" pellet gun.
There are guns that are powered by Co2, pump, HPA, (High Pressure Air) and spring. All shoot at different velocities, all
shoot different pellets, and all pellets have different weights.
Most can/will be somewhat accurate to about 30 yards. The
HPA's are more expensive and higher quality guns, better barrels, better built, far more accurate at longer distances. In
the right hands, HPA rifles can shoot 1" groups at a 100 yards.

Completely depends on the pellet gun. Some are not accurate at all and some quality brands can go quite far.

A good quality pellet rifle with a muzzle velocity of over 1000 fps can reach out to 100 yards.
