I was wondering if anyone could help.
During the day, I usually take my two baby turtles out to bask in the sun. I keep my eyes on them and usually have no problems. Last week, I took them out and turned my attention to my son for a few minutes; when I looked back I couldn't find one of them. It's been 6 days and I haven't been able to find her. I've looked everywhere:raked the grass, crawled on my knees and nothing.
Does anyone know how long a turtle can survive without food/water? I've been wetting the grass often, since it's been sunny and yesterday and today it's been raining.
Is there anything I can do or use to get her to come out of hiding?

I have hope that DanDan (that's the name my son gave it) is still alive. I look everyday in hope that I find her. She was the timid and shy one...she usually doesn't go far.
Please, if anyone can suggest anything I'd greatly appreciate it.

i'm stressing out so much and it's only been four days since school started...and i play basketball for my school and i usually have practice like everyday.

i don't know what to do. the teachers are too fast for my pace, and i really don't want to drop a class...i'm working my butt off and i'm scared to death that my gpa is going to drop...

and to add to that, i don't have many friends at school and usually skip lunch which is pretty sad
please help me. i need advice

should i ask my guidence counselor to change my teachers?
or should i drop a class? (a very disliked choice, i'm prob. gonna feel like a quitter and pretty stupid)
or should i try my best, fail, and continue hs with a low gpa?

eh. advice would be nice.

I don't think I've ever seen nor heard of anyone (besides children) to act and whine like he does all for an award. So what....he raps out some crap then wants to be awarded some grand pubba golden statue-then cries like a little girl when he doesn't get one. Um does anyone else agree with the fact that he's not good enough to win one nor is he worth one??? Go fight in Iraq for the country that ALLOWS you to sing. I'll give you an award for that chump.....

I have gone out with maybe 10-15 or so guys over the past few years. The problem is, I never seem to meet someone I'm really excited about...except this one guy I am really attracted to, but still there are things about him that tell me he wouldn't be a good match. Most of the time when I see cute guys around, too, I'm thinking, "eh, he's cute, but so what?" I don't really get very excited about it. I can also be friends with a GREAT guy but something is just missing. I know there has to be someone for me (and I'm not gay). And I hate internet dating it seems to just be a waste of time. Anyone know of a good online dictionary? I'm doing research for a debate topic (two, actually) in Speech and Debate, and we have to define key words in the resolution (if we want to have a good chance of beating our opponent, anyway). Most of the words need legal definitions. Black's Law Dictionary has great definitions, but I can't get it free online. :( And I don't have the money to buy the download. :( Any ideas?

Wikipedia isn't very reliable, by the way. I wouldn't use dictionary.com, either. ...Any suggestions??
