Depends on the False God. Now, if one forsakes the FSM after you have been touched by his noodly appendage you must spend eternity swabbing the decks of his pirate ships, and leave the yo-ho-ho-ing to his mighty adherents.
If you forsake J.R. "Bob" Dobbs and enlist in the Conspiracy, you will find that you have been cleverly manipulated by "Bob" into doing his work and revealing the Conspiracy for what it is. Thereafter, no hard feelings, go in peace to discover your Northern Mongolian heritage and smoke some habitzipfroppopulops.
If you forsake the Discordant Faction, well, it's the Discordant Faction and rebelling against it is kinda agreeing with it because they're Discordant and that sort of thing is what they are looking for so you really haven't forsaken them but that means you have to agree with them to forsake them and even them you still haven't forsaken them in the sense... oh crap my brain hurts.

*Intermission- Time to scare the Christians*

666! Boo!

OK, if you forsake the boring one (Hint- really entertaining giving his kid M&M's), you'll just have some dirt shoveled over you when you go, same as if you worshipped. Imagine the surprise.

As for Satan, what, you don't like heavy metal? Bogus dude. You get an el supremo wedgie.

Finally, if you forsake Cthulhu, you get eaten first.

No, you will just go to a burning hell full of burning fire and brimstone and you will just burn for all eternity. Why make such comments all just to debate. I know that you maybe so confused that you don't believe that soon all of these "blasphemous" words that you atheist speak, will some day haunt you. You will gnash you teeth because there will be no turning back from the decision that you have made and that day will come on this earth soon enough.

Would a false Hell have cardboard sets, a lake of fire that was just low-budget CGI and fake demons (actors in rubber suits)?

No worries...God's looking out for you, whether you believe in Him or not...

In fact...

He'll have 23 non-virgins awaiting your every pleasure, because he knows you want some Heavenly Hotties with just a tad more experience than virgins...

And the non-virgins were all women who wanted you...

A man who died a virgin...

Now snatch this crucifix from my hand...

...and you may go...

No. You'll just look like an IDIOT worshiping a false god.

But at-least you got some false faith, eh?

There is no false God, no false heaven and no false Hell. As you well know, none of those exist at all, so they can't be called false. Something has to exist to be false.
