Uh, nope!
You tried to find similarities (some of which you are wrong about) but you ignored the differences. Thats like saying an orange is an apple because they both grow on trees.
Evolution is backed up with scientific evidence. There is no evidence for religion. Thats why its called faith.
"Nobody speaks of having faith that the earth is round, or that 2 plus 2 is 4. People only speak of faith when they wish to substitute wishful thinking for evidence."

1. As far as I know, yes.
2. Yes it does. Ever heard of the "Big Bang"?
3. As far as I know...Christianity does. We take the Bible literally, and we believe we are living in the end times, and that if you've accepted Jesus, your future is with Him in heaven.
4. Yeah. Survival of the fittest, "beneficial" mutations - they say that our brains are evolving and that in the future, the world will be nothing like it is today (and I agree that it'll change - It'll be much worse!!)
5. Yes.
6. Nope. Absolutely nothing about God.
7. Umm...sure...treat it like a civilized human being.
8. Uh...yeah. If we get too greedy, then we'll run out of resources, and natural selection will pass us by.
9. Most definitely. I try not to. I don't get angry, just frustrated and impatient (not quite the same as being angry); and it's mostly when the evolutionist I'm arguing against keeps using the same exact pointless argument over and over again (it's happened nearly every time so far).
10. Oh, yeah! You should've seen how pissed an acquaintance of mine got once when we got into a creation vs. evolution "discussion"; she even started using insults ans a few swear words.
11. Yep. Hitler was an evolutionist and believed that those blond-haired, blue-eyed people were the most perfect people on earth, so he decided to start a war, conquer the world, and he killed about 6 million Jews and other "inferior races" in the process.
What IS your definition of "religion"?
*EDIT*
Actually, neither religion nor evolution really teaches about environment. It just sort of creeps up in both, though. It may not be officially taught, but it's there.

Let's see now, only yes or no answers? Okay, best answers possible, given this limitation:
Origins:
Yes
No
Future:
Yes
No
God's power in past:
Yes
No
Human ethics regarding environment:
No
No
Getting angry:
Yes
Yes
Religious beliefs leading to wars and killing?
Yes
There's your answer, limited to just "yes" or "no", as per your instructions.
Addendum: For certain other answers here, and for the umpteenth time, the "Big Bang" theory is NOT part of the "Theory of Evolution". Sheesh! Try astrophysics.

Your question(s) suggest that Religion, Science, Evolution and Creationism are separate and different entities .. sorry old mate, but at my age one of the conclusions I have arrived at is this
there is/are many Gods, beliefs and theories about all sorts of things .. nowhere in the Bible, Koran (a marvellous read even for Christians and agnostics - such as I) or other religious scripts is evolution debunked .. nor does any scientific paper (of repute) dismiss Creationism .. too whit - for many generations humans have considered that the ancient Egyptians had a Pantheon of Gods .. modern thinking has now (generally) agreed that their religion, along with all others in th world are ultimately monotheistic and accept by 'acquiescence in silence' with the concept of Creationism/Evolution, neither of which contradicts the other .. read them carefully, forget the dogma of certain 'tight' religious teachings and you will accept the fact that ultimately .. the whole of life is evolving/devolving and changing with/without divine intervention .. for scientists (such as I) to dismiss the concept of Creationism is flawed in that it creates an impression of chaos from go to whoa .. something we can't accept due to increasing knowledge levels .. nor can Creationists (unless dogmatic) dismiss evolution unless they are limiting the power of their 'divine/supreme' being

I do not believe in religion. I believe in relationships. People always ask me what religion I and I say "It is against my relationship to have a religion" because that is the truth. The Lord created us to have a relationship with him, and that I have. Now weather or not you decide to have a relationship with the man who died to save your life, is your decision. Here are a few questions for you. And be truthful with your self. Have you ever looked at a woman and lusted after her? If you have answered truthfully according to the bible, you have committed adultery. Have you ever hated anyone? If you have answered truthfully that makes you a murderer. The lord has said that any man who has hatred in his heart for his brother has murdered him. Have you ever lied? If all of the above were answered truthfully, that makes you a living adulterer murderous thief. But did you know that GOD sent his son to die to wipe all of that away for YOU ? I am in no way judging you, I am a lying thief, and murderous adulteress my self. But God has given me grace and I have accepted his son into my heart as my savior and all of that is gone. Is it your turn?

Just as much as the sun is a religion. Did those ignorant sun worshipers thousands of years know any better than that the sun was a god?
Evolution is as real as the sun, no god.

Urm no, it's a biological process that explains why changes in allele frequencies occur in species.
If you don't understand it and must equate it to a religion (somehow) then please take a step back, you're obviously not ready for science.

Bring difference between " teaching a story of origins " and providing evidence for said origins. Please recuse yourself if ever called to jury duty.
