for the garbage men?

Right now I am in California and I want to move to a state that has all 4 Seasons...I am tired of hot winters, and no snow, I do not want to move to a big city, I want to live in a more county type setting with enough of a yard to have a dog and kids can play outside w/o fear of kidnapping, etc. Any ideas of where to start looking would be great!

My partner has a new job working reno at a hospital. He came home today with a cold sore and neither of us has ever had one before. He thinks he caught it there, but how common would this be? How long the the virus lay on inorganic surfaces? Wouldn't it have to be a bit more direct like I have one, I drink a drink, you drink right after me and now you have one? Either way, I know he's not off kissing someone with a blistered lip (or even a non-blistered one for that matter).

I currently own the house that I live in, it is heir property, given to me by my aunt in 1977. I was divorced and remarried in
2000. My husband is 14 years younger than I am. He has given an ultimatum to make a will leaving my home to him if I were to pass away instead of leaving it to my children. His parents have pushied him to making this decision. He has threatened to leave me if I don't make this will. I feel that because he did not buy this home that I should not give it to him. I believe that leaving the home to my children is a better decision. What are you opinions?

i have had a stuff nose for the past 6 hrs no matter what i take or how much i blow my nose i till cant breathe out of both sides of my nose. i have even tried a hot shower hot tea and nothign is working. all i can do is breathe out of my mouth. someone please hepl!!!

I've got to start 2 RB's, and this is my current depth chart at RB:

Joseph Addai
Cedric Benson
Adrian Peterson
Derrick Ward (just got him off waivers)

I know I'm starting Addai, as I know he's the only RB I can fully trust to produce big numbers.


As for my other RB, I'm not so sure. I had high hopes for Benson, but he performed horribly last week -- although it was against a very tough Chargers defense.

I don't want to pull him, and replace him with either Peterson or Ward, and then have his one game failure turn out to be just that -- a one game failure.

But on the other hand, last year I got burnt by drafting Cadillac Williams in the first round, and for the first 7 weeks [i]hoping[/i] he would turn it around...Which he never did.


In your mind, what should I do?

Should I pull Benson? And if so, should I replace him with the rookie Peterson, or Derrick Ward, who will be filling in for the injured Brandon Jacobs? Ward looked awfully strong at the end of the Dallas game..

Just got a job and found out instead of w-2 they have us fill out 1099 forms....then they told us because of this, we will pay less taxes, instead of being taxed at about 30% of our pay which is about normal, we will be taxed at only about 15%, and at the end of the year there are numerous write offs and deductions....but when researching it, i noticed that a lot of people are actually paying more taxes using 1099 form (self employed) because they have to pay what the employer didnt....

if this is the case why did they tell us that u will be paying less taxes because the government is making money because of our sales so they give us a break??? are they lying or what

basically my question is this..in a month, someone who makes $3000 would normally get taxed around $750 using w2

how much would they get taxed using 1099?? thx

I know that she finds me attractive. She is phillipino, and another woman I work with who is phillipino has told me about her and I told the lady that the girl is cute. She is so shy and doesnt speak to anyone. I have tried to innitiate conversation, but she just wants to read her book in the break room. WHen I told the lady, that the girl was cute, later that day she gave me eye contact twice. The next day I tried talking to her but she was only interested in her book. I even tried asking her questions about herself and she just gave me a yes or no answer. How do you get a shy girl to open up? I know that she finds me attractive bc I have seen her looking at me in the corner of my eye a few times, but she wont look at me if I am looking into her eyes. What can I do to get her to open up?

If they are here to help people or help spirits, why is their help so expensive? I understand the need to survive, especially when doing the job full-time, but does it have to be around $80 for half an hour?
