Almost a month ago, I made arrangements to pay a bill off with payments made every 2 weeks. 2 payments have been made and the company has not sent a reciept of payment. My bank sais that the payments were sent and recieved. Now, the company has sent my account to a collection agency. This action has reduced my credit score some and the bill is for the full amount owed, not the amount less the 2 payments made. What options do I have?

Ok. This is the fourth or fifth time I have been invited to a "diaper party". So a woman has a baby shower; then a couple of weeks later I get an invite for (in my opinion a second baby shower) this diaper party, where you are supposed to bring a package of unwrapped diapers for the new baby.

I find this to be really tacky. Is this a new thing, is it regional? I'm from Michigan, and I'd like to know if you find this tacky and where you are from.

I was just looking through the organic chemistry section Princeton Review's new "Cracking the MCAT CBT" book... I noticed that there is some material which I learned in O-chem that is not in book, such as Diels-Alder reactions, epoxides, or nucleophilic aromatic substitutions - all stuff we spent a lot of time on. Does this mean that it is very unlikely that this will be on the MCAT? After all, Princeton Review is the "most comprehensive prep course in the nation".

OK, so the protesters came and went. The Police were heavy-handed. The event cost millions of dollars. John Howard apparently boosted his popularity. George Bush made his (almost predictable) glitches -- thank heavens he did'nt need to say "NUCLEAR".

But was it worth it? So far we have an aspirational agreement on climate change. There will be some inter-country agreements. Personally I think the whole thing is a GROSS waste of time and money - lots of it.

Please could you give me YOUR opinion - some well reasoned argument. Take sides, one way or the other - make your point. Thanks!

There were once three people who were one boat in a small river. their names were "somebody", "nobody", and "fool". while going half way through...somebody and nobody picked up a fight..and so somebody killed nobody.....fool got scared and he jumped out of the boat and went to the police who were close and said "police police!...somebody killed nobody...pls do something..he is on the boat over in the river..come quick and we can catch him...and the police said "what?? u are saying somebody killed nobody??? are u a fool man??" and then he goes...yes sir i am a fool!!

Okay my roommate has a cat. I got a cat they're both indoor cats we live on the second floor of an apt. They're only able to go out on the balcony. Then my roommate got a dog from the shelter. All of sudden we have fleas. Never seen them on my cat before. My roommates cat was previously treated for fleas when she got her. The dog was treated at the shelter. The fleas were mostly on my cat a domestic long-hair. How the hell did we get fleas? I'm guess the damn dog brought them in with him from walking. I'm freaking out, I have a flea collar, which I don't thinks work at all. I have flea spray for the cat and the topical monthly solution. I'm afraid they won't go away. SUGGESTIONS PLEASE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

How can we minimize hate, bitterness, hurt feelings, and anger this weekend when we meet to split up some of the stuff. It is only a month since mom died and I cannot understand the big rush to do it all now and in one day..they are all stressing me out. Is this normal..the family is real dysfunctional and my brother nearly attacked me twice..once from stress of the day and saying the flower spray was too much (at the most $50 over the cheapest one)..he screamed, said I weas lying to hiom and truying to chat him, vowed revenge and broke glass in the house and overturned books...another time went craxy because I wanted to ask the lawyer what a legal paper was before signing it..he screamed, im,plied he would cheat my on the will which he can do as to how it was written and demanded my mom's house key back..we did make up but this is crazy..I am dreading Sunday and feel I will get cheated, hurt feelings, and not the things I would like...I feel like not gouing but he said I need to go
