Well, there's a solution, but you're not going to like it. If Americans are willing to pay $1,500 for that iPod that is now made in China and sells for $400, then Apple can start manufacturing them here in America and pay the people who build them union scale at the same time. Try selling that idea to the consumer who's only interest is getting a good deal. Globalization is here to stay as long as Americans want to own everything that comes on the market. Manufacturers need to make their profit. Otherwise there's no point in being in business.

I'll pay 1500 for that ipod when companies like apple stop selling out americans and shipping out jobs so that they can afford to pay their CEO and other top execs outrageous amounts of money and start rewarding their american employees for their hard work by paying them enough money to support their families.

In answer to the Question, every job that we can't get the illegal mexicans to do.

with the current trade freeze with china you ould think that would create more jobs for america. not unless you like lead paint on your favorite Dora the Explorer toy or botulism in your favorite can of chili.
