I thought about it, I'm still thinking about it 15 minutes later, and I hate what I see. I don't think my answer will be very popular. I don't even like it. However, I feel I must call it as I see it.
I think we have been under attack from the inside for a very long time. Slowly we've lost what we stood for. So slowly we didn't notice we were becoming corrupt.
All our many systems, have been raped beyond recognition. It's all about money.
Our police cannot enforce laws, firemen can't stop fires, courts are jammed, prisons are crammed and throwing dangerous criminals back into society, science is so advanced we don't know what to do with it, we have so much waste material, including nuclear waste, we don't know what to do with it, and global warming is quickly winning. I could go on, but why? I can't change much of anything without fistfuls of money to throw at it. It sickens me. I don't want to even look at it anymore. I wish I didn't see it this way.
Just one more peek. On top of all I've said, it appears to me that we are no longer able to even elect our own President!
I love my country, and believe we are still the best. It is the only one I wish to live in. I wouldn't care about it if I didn't love the US. Even our allies snicker at us. Where we were once respected, we are now a worldwide joke, and or target. We are frowned upon by our entire world community. This is not how democracy is supposed to work.
God gave us such abundance, and we are throwing it away by the tons everyday. That goes for all countries, not just ours. I wish I did not see us in this way, but I do.
may peace be with us all
God Bless America

America has its faults. During the Bush regime its has gone over the top in terms of interfering in overseas regimes. And at times American business and government is a bit arrogant.
But, if it wasnt for America (and I'm writing from Australia) I would hate to think what a mess the world would be in. Israel would be in real trouble, the Islamofascists would be much stronger than they are and would be creating havoc everywhere and Europe would be under attack from its enemies...so all I can say is "viva USA viva" - even Osama acknowledges that you are the strongest power on earth.
LONG LIVE AMERICA.

All international locations fall. that's a traditionally proved danger. in case you're asking if the U.S. will fall each time quickly, then no. no longer using fact we are the final or the final, yet using fact we are in truth good. definite we've lots of debt yet so do maximum international locations. Our defense force remains a rigidity to be reckoned with and as an entire we are knowledgeable human beings. i'm uncertain while or why the U.S. will disintegrate in spite of the undeniable fact that it purely isn't in the present day or the following day, so why problem?

No politician that I know of is against the constitution. That is more the rallying cry of the passionate but uneducated. But if anybody has done a disservice to our freedoms, its been the US Supreme Court ruling that babies are the property of their mother and may be terminated at will.
Whatever happened to life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness? I guess it should be updated to say "pursuit of happiness as long as youre old enough."

I think we as Americans should think long and hard about this. We should then loot gun stores. We should take America hostage and rid ourselves of these illegal immigrants with brute force until they beg for mercy. I believe that if we can kill hundreds of thousands of innocent iraqis, then we can kill hundreds of thousands of mexicans too. We can loot Walmarts nationwide and then demand that they Unionize now or we'll set them on fire. I think we should set the ports on fire and demand to stop trade with China. I think we should get what we want like we always did. Violently. We killed native americans, slaved the africans, fought with ourselves over the use of slaves during the civil war, fought for more security over in cuba when we bombed our own naval ship in 1898(SS MAINE), and didn't acknowledge intelligence of the bombing of pearl harbor so we could go to war again. and demolished our own buildings to go to war again, etc. I think we need to quit being so entertained (stupid), and do something about the future.

We'd just be citizens of other countries. And there wouldn't be a big bully country to invade others on behalf of Halliburton, either.

No. America is doing just fine.
You on the other hand, desperate to get your favorite politician are side tracking the discussion from the real issues to imaginary straw men to assist your candidate in getting elected.
Nothing is going to pieces buy you.
The world got along for 70,000 years without the presence of the United States of America and our illusion of democracy.
It would do just fine without us.
