I feel thats the elite have labor and liberal in their back pocket and no matter who they vote for this year ,the elite will win , I saw the protests and feel the government either one states or federal they are not there to protects its citizens but to protecting the elite and business only.

I think it was a valuable forum for greater co-operation between Asia-Pacific nations but that it has been hijacked by Howard and Bush for their own agenda. Bush isn't even going to stay for the whole thing and it hasn't had much publicity in the US - maybe they should bow out of it and let the rest of the regions leaders get on with it.
It should NOT have been held in Sydney. It is disgraceful what has been done there in the name of this summit and security for Bush. Absolutely disgraceful!
