My best friend is in this relationship (has been in it for almost 5 years now) and is living with the guy, and is planning on getting married someday and stuff. I like him for her too, he seems really nice and sincere and I know he adores her, which is cute, ya know? It seems like they get along and stuff, and before she met this guy she was the type that never had a serious relationship so I know that means love for her. Anyway, my friend just got her Master's degree and that has me wondering how important a partner's level of education is because her man is a high school graduate only. I think this used to bother her but then in the begining, but i guess as she got to know him she decided what was important was who he is not his education level, but i do think now it is begining to bother her again...she says that she would ideally want him to get his BA but he doesnt seem that interested in going to school. i do hope they can make it work, but what do you think are their chances?

hi.. i havent seen or heard from my ex boyfriend in 2 months...last night i went to some lounge by me with my friend and i saw my ex kissing some girl...im not going to lie, even though i moved on, it did bother me a bit...after he hooked up with her he was by the bar by himself so i went up to him and said hi and we started talking...after that i saw some guy who i knew and we started talking (thats all, i didnt hook up with him or anything)...i saw my ex staring at us that he even came up to me while i was talking to the other guy...after that i walked out with my friend and that guy and his friend and i kno my ex saw it bc he tried getting my attention..then he calls me and leaves a message on my voicemail saying "i want you" but ur with another guy".. i get a call from him the next day apologizing to me if he said anything bad the night before cause he was drunk. then he asked me how i been? and what ive been up to? i mean seriously what does he want from me??

Please take a look at my chart. Day 1 - 8 spotted brown. Now for the last 4 days its been bright red?? I have already gone to the Doc last week I am just waiting for the test to come back but he said everything looked normal? Any ideas?

As has been proven by looking at ice core samples CO2 went up after the temperature rose. Surely if it CO2 was the contributing factor to global warming then it would have risen before the temperatures went up. If not why did it only go up afterwards.

by the way it is not denied by scientists that the CO2 went up after rather than before, in case anyone starts berating me about it.

i will never understand if the Kool-aid man is actually the pitcher or the juice. Wouldn't it be funny if someone wanted to play catch with him and deliberately threw the ball at him, shattering the glass. Would he be like sinking into the ground (as the juice) or screaming in agony because he's in a million tiny peices (as the pitcher)...think i'm gonna make a short animated movie and put it on YouTube

Firstly can anyone explain to me what the fetch is?!
And secondly, what happens to the wavelength after the fetch reaches a certain point. For instance if you have a graph plotting wavelength against fetch and you have a curve, after you reach the top of that curve what happens to it? Does it go down or become saturated etc..?

I'd like to pose a counter-question to a question that was posed earlier. Do you have to read a Bible to be a good Christian? I say, "no". As I said to the last questioner, Christianity and the Church came BEFORE the Bible. The first Christians listened to teachers and preachers, and, if they were lucky, the Apostles. The Bible was not necessary for the first Christians to be "good" Christians.
Even centuries later, after the Bible was canonized in the 4th century, it was not available to the average Christian for centuries afterward until the printing press was invented. Are the Christians who lived all those centuries unsaved because they had no Bible? Of course not!
The Bible is the Word of God, and its great to have and to read. But if every Bible magically disappeared from the face of the earth today, the Faith and the Church would go on. That is why Christ established a CHURCH, not a Bible.

Joe Gibbs racing just announced that they will be racing Toyotas for 2008. Does anyone else think this is a crock of ****! I mean, how much more UNAMERICAN can you get....a TOYOTA! With at least three somewhat recent examples to cite, and using the logic that is often displayed here in GWS, I guess I could conclude that all republican males secretly want to have sex with male prostitutes, pages or men in public washrooms.

How legitimate is it to draw conclusions about an entire gender based upon isolated incidents found in the news? In their every day lives, do those people who make such accusations on this forum use the same kind of generalizations? If so...how is it working for you?
