I took my 2000 Jeep GC in for an oil change (after being reminded) by a dealership I have gone to for maint. I specified "only an oil change" when I dropped off.

I went to pick the vehicle up, and the air was on full-blast. (I purposely shut-off everything before dropping off). After a few minutes, I noticed that the Air Conditioning was on, and blowing HOT air.

Not leaving the dealership lot, I took it right back in and explained the story..and asked "why would the air be on full-blast for an oil-change?". I also added that I was running the AC the day before with no problems. I didn't get a satisfactory answer, but the service guy said he would have someone look at it an give me a call.

Long story short, I was called back with a $120 estimate to replace low refrigerant. When I paid the bill it stated that ".47lbs recovered, charged with 1.5 lbs....no leaks found".

Does it seem likely that I would loose "cool-air" overnight? Or is this just a mechanical "coincidence"?

My oriental rugs are extremley dirty and we paid sooo much money for them and they look terrible. Is there anyway to shampoo them at home? Ive heard of using oxy clean with a brush, any other ideas? Also, how do we dry it once it's wet? Thanks in advance!

Ok, so I asked this question last night, and thought I understood it, but there's 2 parts I can't seem to get...

Where A. f(x) = 1 / (x + 1) ; B. f(x) = x^2

Sorry but I just don't understand this stuff... help??

Well hello there i was just wondering what all of you thought of this. Well i am 30 weeks pregnant and my baby shower is in oct and my mom and my brother had asked me what i wanted for my baby..... so i told my mom i wanted her to buy me the stroller travel set and my brother the swing from the fisher prise rainforest collection. I thought everything was set until they went to go look at the rainforest themed i had oicked and they called me right away and told me that the things i wanted where so ugly, and they didn't go for the winter. I know it made me feel sad. they want me to get something with lighter colors and i told them the reason why i didn't it's because light colors get more dirtier! so what do you all think should i go with what i want or should i change my mind and listen to them? or are they being unfair? below is the bouncer and swing i want for the baby!

I live in LA and can't help but wish there were scrubbers or devices that would be effective at absorbing or siphoning out smog from the atmosphere...also, if there were devices to absorb excess CO2, that would be amazing at helping curb global warming. Are scientists working on any feasible solutions?

sign of low selfestem ? And how do I get myself to feel comfortable around people who make me feel like that?. I use to not show up for family events. but now I do because I feel everyones getting up there in age. but not the whole family is like that. I have grown up with cats. And dont get me wrong, I love my kitties, but I just feel like I need a dog. I am actually a bit depressed that I cant own a dog. Every time I see a dog, I get excited to see them, but then I get sad because I want one. Every time I hear a bark I try to see where it is coming from. What can I do to keep my mind off of dogs? I asked the question earlier...but I wasnt satisfied with the answers. Remember, I CANT own a dog. Thank you.
