According to scientific theory the universe is forever expanding. That is until it reaches its end, when it will then collapse. Physically I wonder what this will be like, as I will probably not be around to see it.

If it were in a movie, everything would probably explode. I on the other hand think blackness would fall as everything is sucked in to nothing.

What are your theories on the subject; and what are the scientific ones if any?

I working on 2 sump pump problems. 1) I believe my sump pump was installed too close to the top of the pit. 2) I strongly believe that the pump has been sucking pea gravel installed under the pump.

My pit doesn't appear to have a hard bottom. The house is 50 yrs old. The pit was filled with pea gravel and the pump's base was sitting on a small piece of 2" thick cinder block, 23 inches below the top of the pit.

I dug out the gravel and discovered what I think is the end of the pit's side, 32" below the pit's top. The bottom at this depth is mud. The vertical distance from the pit's bottom to the turn in the pipe is 57". (Pit is 14" across.)

The manual for the pump says that the pump pit should be cleaned out of any rocks, gravel, etc.

So... do I need to put pea gravel in the bottom for some drainage reason? If so, how deep, and do I cover this with a larger piece of block to keep the gravel down? Or can I drop a 12" piece of paver onto the mud?

If you miscarry before 20 weeks do you have to have the fetus surgically removed? What about for twins? Reason I am asking is because my husbands ex wife made up this excuse (may have been true but she is a nut though) so he couldn't see his son this weekend...she said she and her husband were pregnant with twins and they both died so she had to have them surgically removed. She said she didn't tell anyone about the pregnancy because this might happen and it did (why tell anyone after??). I know she couldn't have been more than 20 weeks! Just curious because I do not buy it especially after the way she rants about NEVER having more kids mainly bc her son was born with a disorder her other children may have too.

i recently bought a brand new colorado,ive had it for about 5 months now.i got approved on my own but for insurance purposes i had to put my dad in it too because of that my payment increased.now im trying to move out from their house,i want to get rid of the truck and buy a bike.parents are telling me that if i try and give the truck back it will mess our credit up. is there anything else i can do?

Why doesn't the US start using the metric system when it is so much simpler and quicker than imperial?

1000mm = 1m 1000g = 1kg 1000ml = 1l
1000m = 1km 1000kg = 1t

Whats up 1760 yards in a mile? Surely that's just an unnecessarily awkward number. Wouldn't using the metric system save US industry loads of money in the long run.

Ok i downloaded a small screensaver file and then later my sister was on it and i didnt delete it yet but she shutdown the computer and tat was it. I've been toying with changing my last name for years, ever since I found out, at the age of 32, that I was adopted. So, in light of some pretty serious recent events, I'm moving forward with my idea.
I'm married but separated and should be divorced, hopefully, by next Spring, if not earlier. I'm also in the Army. Will either of these issues be a roadblock for me?
What would be the best and most economical way to go about this?

Ok ,so my boyfriend and I having been dating for a little bit more than 3 months. He works Mon-Fri but has the weekends off. During the weekdays, he comes over my house or I go over his...and everytime we hang out he falls asleep (did I mention he's 23...) On the weekends we go out, but we're home by either 12 or 1 in the morning, and he falls asleep again! Its not fair to me and even though I don't say anything about it to him, it really bothers me. to make a long story short my mom's a jerk and she makes me feel like ****, i hate her so much. but im not going to let her ruin my life, im working really hard in school.. im getting my associates degree and im only 16. there is a lot of homework and studying.. but when im crying every day because of my mom i really cant concentrate and its affecting my school.. please tell me how i can concentrate because i really cant take an hour everyday to try to calm down.
