I see so many recipes that say they're scratch recipes, and yet they call for cans of soup, boxes of cake mix, etc. What ridiculously off-base definition of "scratch" would allow such recipes to qualify?

I've noticed a momement to refer to those over 50 and under 60 as "boomers" because they seem turned off by the term "senior"...yet some of those people have no problem with accepting the "senior discount" in stores? Any ideas behind this sort of mentality? I'm 46, not a senior or technically a full on "boomer" yet.

There's this stray cat that's been on my property quite some time. He's still wild(not with the other cats though) in a month I can get from 50 feet to 10 feet away from him before he runs off. Now I get 10 feet close to him and he won't run away. Any closer he runs off(he's larger than the other female cats so I'm guessing he's a male).

Here's the pictures of his intense stare. He'd just stare at you with this intense glare.

Why does he stare at you intensely(not with the camera)?

I have a restraining order in effect, which makes it illegal for me to contact my ex; however, I am sueing her in small claims court and the laws of small claims court REQUIRE me to contact her. I am unable to write up a document and give it to law enforcement to properly serve because her only address on file is a PO BOX.

So in this case, which law is stronger? Am I allowed to send her correspondance related to the court trial or not?

I like October because of Halloween and changing leaves and it's really pretty and it has okay weather.
