We are travelling on the Carnival Paradise at the end of September - 3 day cruise. Is the ship likely to be full? We are staying on Hotel Queen Mary the night before, so can check in early - can I request an upgrade at that time? Thanks for responding!!

Hi. I am wondering what people think of the birth controll Yaz. I am afraid of the side affects. I would be taking it for my acne. People have told me that when they tryed birth contoll for the first time, they had their period for 3 months..etcetc.
also, i used to use celexa. if there is anyone who has taken both please explain your experence with Yaz. (i am saying this because my body couldnt handle Zoloft but it could handle Celexa).

My husband banks with NC State Employees Credit Union. Several weeks ago, he made the mistake of cashing some checks for a "friend" and giving the "friend" the cash. (The friend wrote the checks out to him, he cashed them at his bank, and he gave his friend the money.)

Of course, they bounced. I'm not really clear what made him think they wouldn't, since obviously the "friend" could not obtain the money himself for a reason. Anyway, now the bank is coming after my husband and threatening legal action if he doesn't come up with the money (approx. $6,000).

The "friend" keeps saying he will come up with the money, but so far, hasn't done so.

My question is this: What kind of legal action can they take against my husband?

I need help trying to figure out this problem, 1000 ft of 18 gauge wire has a 6.385 resistance. How do you get A and D?

A 6 V source is connected to a 100 Ω resistor by two 12 ft lengths of 18 gauge copper wire. The total resistance is the resistance of both wires added to the 100 Ω resistor. Determine the following: (pg )

(a) Total resistance =

(b) Current = 59.9 mA

(c)Voltage drop across the 100 Ω resistor. = 5.99 V

(d)Voltage drop across each length of wire. = 4.61 mV

From listening to the police tapes, I think the guy was innocent. Not everyone knows the "signs" for gay contact. If he had a plane to catch, why in the world would he be trying to hook up? Anyone who has ever had to deal with the police on a matter can relate to this, the fact that he took the easiest way out. There is something that is not right with this whole thing.
