After all the reading I have done on this board I feel more insecure about my marriage that I ever have. Is it just me or do some others feel that way? Especially after reading about all the affairs that are going on.

I got a speeding ticket (16 over the limit) in a suburb of Los Angeles, and it cost me $323. I did not bother to contest it (although I probably could have with an illegal laser use loophole) because I know that I was guilty of speeding, and decided it would be better to man-up to the charge than to waste taxpayer dollars fighting it. Do you think that the fines are so high because its so easy yet costly to contest a ticket? Do you think fewer people would contest the tickets if the fines were more reasonable? (Sounds like a never ending cycle of increasing fines to me...). Or are the fines just so high to discourage people from repeatedly breaking the law? I know the obvious solution to this is to simply not break the law anymore, and I won't have any more fines.

They say its a dividend check for a policy. Why did they send me this money. Is this a scam or should I just put it into savings somewhere...maybe an I bond or something?
I just cannot figure out why State farm is sending their customers money, first a free pizza and now a check.

I hate even talking about this. I'm prepared to go back to my doctor soon. I'm already on nose sprays that are not working. Anyway, here's my problem. Forgive me if it sounds disgusting.

For the past 3 years, Yes 3 years I have suffered with the left side of my nose constantly feeling stopped up. No matter how hard I blow most of the time nothing comes out. If anything does come out it is always clear, thick and almost like slime ( the kind you buy the kids to play with) It holds it form really well. Almost like it doesn't want to breakdown. It's always clear and very thick also. I am constantly clearing my throat as well. I bet I do it over 200 times a day.

On rare occasions I can get some to come out by blowing, but within minutes I feel like there is something in my nose again. Someone suggested I try musinex. I'm just curious as to what this may be. Last year I blew really hard and was freaked out by what came out of my nose. It was a glob the size of a half dollar. HELP!!

Hello I am new to this site...I am in the process of a m/c. We lost our baby on Mon :( I was 5wks and 4 days pg. My dr said that I do not need a D/C b/c my levels were really low, I don't have "that" much bleeding and it should last for about a wk. We are both young, healthy and have a healthy 2 yr old. I ask my dr when can we start ttc again and his answer was as soon as the bleeding stops. Everything I have been reading has said not to do this. I know that my dr knows my med history, but it's natural to be scared. Any advice from mommies who have "been here"?

my boy and i have been best friends for about year or so. recently, we started going out after i broke up with my boyfriend (now ex-bf) and him confessing his feelings for me.

We're about a month into our relationship now after going on 6/7 dates or so and last night he asked me if i wanted to sleep together while we were making out. I hesitated and said no because i didn't think i was ready to move forward and commit especially the fact that i was still hurt from my last relationship and wanted to take things slowly to make sure everything's right this time around.

i don't know what to do now/how to face him. He said it's okay if you don't want to [make love] and he doesn't want to pressure me into doing anything i don't want to do. He loves me dearly and cherishes me and in our social circle, we're publicly known as a couple. I don't know what to do now and how to talk to him about this issue and i really don't want to lose him. What should i do?
