I hate even talking about this. I'm prepared to go back to my doctor soon. I'm already on nose sprays that are not working. Anyway, here's my problem. Forgive me if it sounds disgusting.

For the past 3 years, Yes 3 years I have suffered with the left side of my nose constantly feeling stopped up. No matter how hard I blow most of the time nothing comes out. If anything does come out it is always clear, thick and almost like slime ( the kind you buy the kids to play with) It holds it form really well. Almost like it doesn't want to breakdown. It's always clear and very thick also. I am constantly clearing my throat as well. I bet I do it over 200 times a day.

On rare occasions I can get some to come out by blowing, but within minutes I feel like there is something in my nose again. Someone suggested I try musinex. I'm just curious as to what this may be. Last year I blew really hard and was freaked out by what came out of my nose. It was a glob the size of a half dollar. HELP!!

I suffer with year round Chronic Allergys and what you are describing is an Allergy, not a Sinus Infection. A Sinus Infection Mucus will be a Yellowish Green in color and will need an Antibiotic to clear it up. My Doctor has me on Flonaise and I also take Claritin D Daily. Unfortunately with Chronic Allerygs such as you are describing, you will have to take something Daily for your Allergys. Talk to your Doctor..they may need to switch your Medicine..

there is nose spray from the doctor you can get an then you go to pharmacy and get sudafed. (over the counter) you tell them you want the real thing. they have boxes of 24 or 48. you have to sign for it and you wan t their brand. take once at nite and this nose spray this will go away. the meds pills help sinuses that is what you have. it will work its worth it may have to take all the time but its beter then presciription stuff i have learnt that its not expensive maybe 4 buck for 24 and you just go back and sign again.

Sounds like you might have a chronic sinus infection or something like that. Maybe the doctor could give you a prescription for an antibiotic to take care of any possible hidden infection, and maybe a steroid nasal spray like Nasacort to reduce inflammation? It doesn't sound like anything horribly serious, just annoying for you :(

My wife suffered from the same thing, it was wheat. Are you allergic to a food? Try eliminating one thing at a time. Start with wheat and wheat gluten. Also consider elimonating these from your diet: WHite or processed flour. Sugar Animal fats Trans fat Hydrogenated anything alcohol Smoke Drink lots of fresh clean spring water Good Luck

Sounds like my sinus infections, or sinusitus. You need an antibiotic so see that doctor immediately!! I left one go once and it got worse, as a result, now I have sinus damage. Get to the doctor, please.
