Never had probably never will either, the only way for someone to possibly trip by a cordless phone, is that cord that's connected from the back of the phone jack to the wall socket.

HA! Last week I accidentally stepped on my home cordless phone and to prevent me from breaking it, i sorta jumped (?), like if its surface was hot, and i fell while i was doing it. Good thing is the phone is safe. lol

I don't leave it lying on the floor. That helps avoid those nasty trips. I also don't have any little "helpers" at home. That helps a great deal.
