You can, but the catholic church won't recognize the jewish ceremony, and if the rabbi comes into the catholic church, he'll be smote.

You really need to have a talk with your parish priest. I know they do weddings where one of the couple doesn't have to be Catholic, but the person must agree to raise the children Catholic. However, of the ones I knew who did this, all are of various Christian denominations.
I think you and your bf have WAY more serious things to discuss before approaching a priest, though -- you need to decide what religion the two of you will follow, what is important for each of you - and, more importantly, if you are planning to have children, what in the world you will be doing regarding faith. There is a HUGE disparity between your two religions, not as much as would be between two Christian denominations.
Talk to your priest regardless. They are amazing counsellors.

Anyone can go into a Catholic church. You can't have both ceremonies- For you to be married by a rabbi you have to be Jewish or convert. For you two to be married by a Priest it has to be INSIDE of the church. You can however, get married by someone else- a mayor or judge at a neutral location and have your marriage blessed by the church.

I would defiantely ask the Catholic Priest about that one. I think that the level of strictness in the Catholic Church varies so much from congregation to congregatoin and from priest to priest. So it woudnt hurt you to just ask the priest and know for sure.
... sounds like the beginning of a great joke though

There is probably some rabbi who will agree to that, just because you can always find one wacko in any population, but it's probably going to be very hard to find one. You really can't get married according to both traditions, and what rabbi wants to come into a Catholic Church and basically just be window dressing? A priest wouldn't want to come into a synagogue and be window dressing either. It's disrespectful to ask. You should decide in which tradition you are going to raise your family and get married by that religion's traditions.

My husband was Catholic and I was Baptist and we were married in the Catholic church with my pastor and his priest both officiating the wedding. So I don't understand why they both couldn't be there. Just talk to both of them to see what can be done.

i am in the same situation and my boyfriend(who is jewish) said that rabbis will not go into a church. So, we have to either get married in a temple or outside which its looking like we are gonna do it on the beach.

Hi. Even though I am Catholic, I'm not sure. Call
your priest and speak with him.
