i have an adapter that lets you plug in something with threee prongs into an outlet with 2. it says to ground it for safety. how do i "ground" it.

If I don't want to teach, what else can I do with a BA in mathematics. I'd like something that involves computing, doing mathematical operations and stuff..I enjoyed doing algebra..I feel like this could be a suitable job for me...something in finance. Any ideas?

I'm just wondering if maybe there is something wrong with me, or if other women are like this also. It just seems like since I've been pregnant...I really haven't had much of a sex drive....me and my man are constantly fighting about it, because I'm never in the mood. Is something wrong with me? I am a psych major, and was told be my prof to read "The proper Care and Feeding of Husbands" by Dr. Laura and write a paper on it...to those that have not read it, basically the author believes that men are easy to please and that we as women have neglected our men by not respecting them, ignoring them, placing our careers before family, etc... and that we have to cater to our men (cook, clean, sex anytime, compliment, etc)> a lot of people believe this is prehistoric nonsense and that the womens lib movement was the best thing for us... other people completely agree with dr. laura's views. what do you guys think?

Here are the distances:
1. (-4,2) - (4,-2)
2. (-1,3) - (-3,-2)
3. (1,4) - (3,0)
4. (-4,2) - (4,3)

For problem 1. my answer was 4√5 and the only choices are

Okay, so we are 5 months pregnant. We just recently found out that we are expecting a boy. It is our first baby, the first grandson, and the first great-gradson. There are only girls in our family, anyways, we need help with the middle name!

The first name has to be Sammuel.
The last name has to be Vasquez.

I want the name to be Sammuel Adam Vasquez, but my husband is completely against it because he said it just brings BEER to mind.

Any recommendations please?

(we want a middle name to give the baby the option of using something else incase he doesn't like Sammuel.

Plus, Sammuel can easily be used in all stages of life.
Toddler=Sammy
Teen=Sam
Adult=sammuel

i make them think that i'm okay.

it seems i'd be a great actor,

i put on a great show every day.


they always are oblivious.

they think that i am fine...

they cannot see the truth,

All of the pain that lays inside.


i make them think im happy,

i give them what they want...

the "nothing much..."; the, "fine and you?"

i know they dont care fo the truth

i fight the demon's taunting me.

the truth they say is agonizing,

knowing what i'll never be...


i never will be perfect.

i was born with all these flaws;

never will somebody love me,

i will remain just a lost cause.


breaking every second,

i realize i can't revive...

dead, batered, and broken.

I have 2 positions where I left them and I'm trying to figure out how to turn these explanations into a positive rather than making the interviewer doubt my loyalty and ability to stick with a position. The first one - I was temping and took a permanent position where they then downsized and I was laid off. The other - the company was going out of business, so I resigned to look for other opportunities. How do I turn this in MY favor rather than having an interviewer continuing to probe, why, why why???? They drive me crazy - when they ask that and make it sound like I was committing career suicide by resigning. Do you have ideas for what to say that will make me look good rather than having to go into detail about the past???
