hi i just got in to the jr. basketball team at highschool.we do drills and a game during lunch since there are no free time for us to train after-school.

about me:
im about 5''5 tall and im only 15,pretty small for a highschooler.my current position is still unknown on my school team but im a pointguard on my dad's team.i dunno how high i can jump but i can touch the net about nearly halfway of it. every day i always have to walk home after-school about 4km away and play bball every break and in the morning at school.im a good long-range shooter,but sucks at passing and ball handling/dribbling. i tire so easily by running back and forth during a game,maybe im not fit enough(walking home everyday,plays sports everyday)

i want to know on what kind of drills/exercises i should do to improve on my weaknesses that i could do alone. and also my vertical leap,i know its impossible for me to jump higher but 'nate robinson' inspired me with his dunks w/ his height of 5'9 .thx

A pal's business recently bought 55gal of surplus 98% sulfuric acid. Unknown buffers or impurities give it a dark brown color (clear not cloudy) .

The problem: The dark coloring makes the product unusable for their application. It must be as colorless as possible. To avoid wasting expensive product and disposal fees, they want to try to remove some or all of the color. Distillation won't work as 55gal is too much for them to process safely & quickly. They're willing to try any reasonable method that might possibly help.

1: Basically, they need to know what readily-available filter media can withstand 98% H2SO4 (and might clarify the product even slightly).

2: If filtering isn't possible, what chemical reactions might clarify the product? Again, even a modest improvement might be enough.

This is a small shop that sunk lots of cash into this product. I'd hate to see them lose money if there's a chance the product can be salvaged.

Every year all that seems to happen is:
- More people in debt
- Crime up
- Health service in tatters
- Superbugs out of control (MRSA etc)
- Stealth taxes at every corner
- No control on illegals + asylum seekers
- Gangs controling cities instead of police
- Proposed ID cards
- Street names in Arabic
- 17 year old girl with 3 kids

I think this country has been on a road to ruin for a while now but sadly it's gone too far down that road to turn back.

I believe it's time to have a bit of heart and revolt - at least try and make this country GREAT again.

Why do we just sit back and let ourselves be dealt all this c**p??

Are girls prettier at 18 than at age 24? Some people said so. Are they right? I am 23 (I am going to turn 24 in 2 weeks) and I think my looks are going downhill already. Since a month ago I notice the elastic of my skin is getting looser and the muscles of my arms and legs are looser too. In other words- my body isn't as firm anymore as it was when I was 17-19. Terrible! Does everybody go downhill like this at this age?

I think I was at my physical peak from age 17-21. Now I'm going downhill.

Ok so Im a compleate Idiot! I know, I know its all my own fault but Ive missed my period {well last month it finished today 23rd} and today im doing a pregnancy test but my heart is racing and terrified I know it was my own fault. Also my mum got me the mini pill to control my periods and Im suppose to start them the day I start my period and I think she will catch on! Im only 17!

If my mum finds out she will kill me and its not the case of she will be upset but she will get over it becasue she wont.

Im so scared and I think the idea of abortion is so scary {free in uk} I dont know what to do please give me some advice.

I just need to walk into an ordinary computer shop and purchase a graphics card. I'm not very technical, but I can see that I have an IBM THinkCentre, purchased October 2006 brand new. It has a 3GHz CPU, 1GB RAM and just been upgraded to WinVISTA from WinXP SP2. AERO does not work. HELP.
