Dear Husky who came from the shelter.
What goes on in your head? I've always considered myself a dog person, but you manage to be a complete mystery to me. I alternate between thinking you're completely neurotic, or possibly raised by cats, since nothing you do makes sense.

Why must you get up on the dining room table and walk in circles? You do this in the bath tub too. If I ate in either place, it might make sense, but as it is all you do is mess up the piles of unpaid vet bills from when you:
1- came home from the shelter crawling with worms
2- came home from the shelter with kennel cough
3- crawled out of a second story window and walked right off the roof
4- broke your leash, took off running and somehow managed to come back covered in ticks. I didn't even know there were ticks in Vegas, but you found a whole nest of them, I guess.

Do you need dog therapy? I've already invested in said unpaid pile of vet bills, dog kennel (the one place in the house you don't pee, thanks) one of those things to brush out your undercoat so I can wake up in the morning without a mouth full of husky fur, three collars (why do you take them off anyway, and where do you hide them?) and the bi-weekly 20 dollar food that is the only thing you can eat without vomiting an undigested rainbow across my bed. Speaking of which, why are you unable to swallow water without making that horrible gagging noise that sounds like a strangling moose? Even the vets aren't sure why, but I can tell you this. Whatever the reason, it's disgusting.

In fact, a lot of things you do are disgusting. You are the biggest pain in my *** that I could ever possibly imagine. So why haven't I found you a new home? Or taken you back to the shelter?

Because you lick my feet to wake me up in the mornings, and because I've lost ten pounds running with you every day. Because when you run into the sliding glass door, I laugh. Because simple things like peanut butter make you happy. Because when I first took you out of that cage with the seven other dogs in it, you looked at me like I was God.
Because I promised I would take care of you. And I will. Until one of us croaks, we're stuck together. So stop whining like I'm never coming back whenever I leave the room. I'm not going anywhere.

i cant understand it, i have 2 cats andlove them to bits. i think people are being overprotective of their cats! they need to have their freedom, the reasons people give for not letting their cats out are rubbish, like diseases, getting knocked down and so on. its a risk! but its a risk worth taking! cats in fact are much more healthier outdoors and MUCH happier! its bordering cruelty keeping them inside. its such a shame many cats dont have their freedom, theres no excuse for it. our cats couldnt be happier, i had one before them and he lived to about 18, and im glad he experienced the outdoors. being 19, i have lived with cats almost all my life and know all about them. anyone that really cares about their cat will take the small risk of letting their cat out (they WILL come back).

The question is directed to Christians but anyone not already of the Islam faith can answer. I got the idea for the question while looking up info on Wikipedia. I'll giv my answer when resolved

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Steve_Centanni

On August 27, the Palestinian news service Ramattan and FOX News reported[8] that Centanni and fellow captive Wiig were released unharmed, shortly after a new video was released. In the video, both journalists, wearing beige robes, read statements saying that they had converted to Islam, with Centanni stating "Islam is not just meant for some people; it is the true religion for all people at all times."[8] After being freed Steve Centanni stated "We were forced to convert to Islam at gunpoint, and don't get me wrong here, I have the highest respect for Islam, and learned a lot of very good things about it, but it was something we felt we had to do, because they had the guns, and we didn't know what the hell was going on."[8]

Gary Coleman has done some commercials for CashCall. He states in the commercial that no one wanted to lend him money. I did read that Mr. Coleman filed for bankruptcy years back. But when I called CashCall about their lending services, they stated to me that they would not lend any money to anyone who had filed for BK.
Why do they use Gary Coleman for their commercials if he himself filed for BK, and they probably lent him money?

This guy is so over the top dishonest. He only is physically in the office about 7 hours a day then goes for an hour lunch, yet consistently bills 8 hours a day. And the time he is at the office, he is online, on the phone, texting, etc... It is really irritating because it looks like he will receive a bonus related to his hours.
The billing partners are either oblivious to the true hours this person is in the office and working, or don't care because they make money off of this dishonesty. Ever hour this person bills is money in their pocket. I think they know what is going on.
Is there anything I should do about this? Who would you report something like this to? What kind of penalities would this person/the firm face?
Thanks

when i say irreligious, i'm not in any way just speaking of “philosophical skeptics" (aka atheists).
Truthfully, when it comes to people who would be deemed irreligious, people who are "societal christians" yet are not true seekers of christ outnumber atheists many times over.
now to get to the meat of the matter: i can't help but to see that people who don't take religion or christianity seriously very often fail to do so because they are too satisfied with how sociologically secure they are with their life to think that there is more to this life than the nominal piety they cling to.

I think that the quickest christian answer is to look at this as a so called spirtual "test"; that is, that it is with worldly comfort we may be blinded to god's calling for us.
It would really go hand in hand with jesus' proclaimation that
"...it is easier for a camel to go through an eye of a needle than it is for a rich man to gain heaven."
