The news media should be responsible for
getting the monumental stories out for the day
if they have a nose for journalism and know
that the world counts on them for responsible
reporting of the facts that can shape the world in
positive ways not just bring people to tears.

I found this question in another area and thought it was great so I'm posting it! The more I live learn study and grow spritually I kinda go with evolutionary creationism! There are things (in the bible even...shshshsh) everywhere that show this to be truth more than any other theory. If God didn't make the world just the way we know it in 6 days does that make him any less amazing? I don't think so! I DO think God created the earth in 6 days but I'm not sure that there is a timeline between creation and the "fall of man". Time to us is (in my oppinion) a measurement of our lifes. If we didn't have a certain time to live then what would we be counting? So the time between the sixth day and the "fall" could have been a long time right? EVEN possibly a REALY REALY long time.
Scientist are now saying that the world went from almost nothing to the size it is in milaseconds! That sure does sound like Genesis 1 to me!
sorry I have to run, they are going to start throwing stones any time now

I hear around one in five young school children in England are now non-white and this is due to increase fast.

People say the BNP are racist and therefore one shouldn't vote for them. however as a white man why should this concern me? Most racism from the government seems to be directed at Englishmen, so unless I'm supposed to vote altruistically and for people who hate me, why should I not vote for the BNP?

Finally, I hold a BSc and I'm happily married so please don't infer that that my inquisition is anything other than it is - I'd just be interested to hear why voting BNP would be harmful to me and mine.

Lastly, and probably most important is that I see the BNP as a pressure group who will force the issue of immigration to be talked about, I don't believe a vote will lead them into power anytime soon.

I broke my lower leg about 3-4 years ago. It hurts right where I broke it today, possibly from walking around a lot in heels last night and today. Besides rest, is there anything I can do to expedite its healing? I already took 2 Percocet (7.5/325) for the pain (it's pretty bad). Thanks

It's all they think about! It's like they think their borders are constantly under attack when they're clearly not. whenever you see some nut in Iraq with a hostage, they've got the poor bugger dressed a "Camp X-Ray" inmate and they're bleating about "Our Muslim Brothers". It's clear to anyone that this didn't really happen five years ago and that America's just making the situation worse.

Of course I sympathise with the 11/9 attacks and agree that what happened was horrendous but talking constantly about killing all muslims does have certain "Holocaust" feel about it.

I'm British, so I'm not stranger to terrorism, bearing in mind the decades of IRA campaignes but I find the US' new found piety on the issue troubling considering the IRA was funded exclusively from America.

I'm not having a dig at America, just observing that throughout they're history, they've had an enemy "Who want to destroy our democratic way of life".
