Replace the razor blade once every month. I usually replace a razor blade once every two months, but I think a razor blade becomes dull faster when it's used to shave legs instead of the face. I'm not positive about that, but it does seem like there is more hair to shave on the legs.

I use cheap (Bic) double edge razors (two blades cutting at same time, not old style with blades on two sides) and shave with Dial soap (wash twice, lather up) and my razors last several weeks doing my face. I quit when the white slide strip rubs off or when I seem to be pressing more firmly on my skin and still leaving a faint stubble or slightly raw skin.

I think that its best to change it maybe once every two-shaves.. or until the razor seems completely un-usable. At least thats what i've been told by my mother! haha hope that helps.

I grow a heavy beard and I can use a disposable ten times, my wife then steals it from me and uses it on her legs another couple of times.

Really it depends what you are shaving and how thick the hair.

You can extend the use of a disposable by running it under cold water btw.

I use a shaver that's a bar of soap with a razor embedded into it, so I change it whenever the soap runs out.

It depends on how much you use your razor. If it is often, once every month. If not as often, every other month.

You only need to use it 3 times then get rid of it. To much bacteria can breed on it.
