getting the monumental stories out for the day
if they have a nose for journalism and know
that the world counts on them for responsible
reporting of the facts that can shape the world in
positive ways not just bring people to tears.

Though this may be completely true, your message/delivery might cause one to be concerned.
Its very sad that some of us in our excitement and enthusiasm to share His word can turn others away from seeking/knowing God, because we are either too over-the-top, we think we are the only ones with the key to the city or we criticize/judge others when they don't think/act just like us.
Bottom line, yes there is only one God; yes He loves us beyond comprehension; yes He sent His Son to die on the cross so that we might live; yes He is coming again, how soon, no one knows, but if you accept Him as your personal savior, you will embrace the thought, not fear it.
When people get tired of being empty and seeking to fill that void in their soul, all they have to do is ask God into their life and make Him their source. This would transform the world and the thought of harming/killing one another OR even killing dogs for entertainment would no longer be in their vocabulary. If you are tired of the hateful, dark headlines you are reading where one more person died for nothing; thousand destroyed for nothing, consider these are headlines of a world not living in God's will, imagine what they would read if people got real and did away with these lies and type of living.
